Tourist Trophy Time Trial Tournament

To bring back the glorie of Tourist Trophy I hereby start a lobby for putting up a Tournament about the best motorcycle game still.

A simple set-up Time Trials with particular motocycles on particular tracks.

Hope there will be enough participants. If this is the case than further progress can be made and more info will follow!

jumped on a 600 ( yzf r6 ) and did a

7'31'924

on lap 2 of 3
( replay is lap 2 .. done on 6.20.12 )

no race bikes
( i am doin laps @ Valencia on the superbikes though.. just broke into the 1.39's )will post those later...

STREET bikes only ... anything 1000cc or less..

this is done in Tourist Trophy mode ..

bike adjustments allowed
keep laps resonably clean

because last night after 9 attempts I could only manage 7:38 and in frustration [while drinking beer] I done the unthinkable...I snapped my beloved copy of tourist trophy..sobs..I was so annoyed at myself this morning
damn I thought I got over the frustration point long ago..just shows I still love this game..ha..ha
Dont worry I found a brand new copy[which was very lucky ] and it will be here within a week..

you sir...are a excellent rider..

i will practice on the weekend and try to get a competitive lap, it should take some work to beat 7.28. i ll burn through some riders, i think some of them are going to end up in trees or stuck between the armco but that is a risk ill be willing to take.

( your vid is good but we( the tourist trophy panel of judges LOL ) .....
have decided to " DQ " it because there is no hud and / or proof of your lap time.. )

the Time Trial session has started..
Nurburgring..
( street bikes ) 1000cc or less
Tourist Trophy mode ( bike adjustments ok )
pro braking( pro mode )

me and a couple of others are running .. the 600cc rite now
then the 750cc and so on
then eventually change the trak..

this is fun blowin y'all out.. LOL

Well I've always had a little trouble printing the corners of the ring in my memory, but I decided try and finish a lap on the ring with out planting my face in the grass or in the guardrail to much and again I failed at it.
Think I'm a little rusty.
Although I have a huge gap to close with you guys I'll keep trying .

Here my attempt with a Suzuki GSX-R 600.
With the incredible time of: 8'29.403
Oh and it took me 5 mins. to realise I forgot to activate the hud.

maybe this will help.. with your riding
you know how critcal weight distribution is when racing a motorcycle..
when going into a corner push up on the left stick and left or right
( depending on the corner.. ) .. it shortens the turn angle
be sure to re-center or pull down to re-shift the riders weight when exiting
or you'll get wheel spin.
its an intresting science balancing the rider in and out of corners ..
alot of fun when you get the hang of it.

imagine what it will look like racing on Nurbring..
going down that long, long straight..
with about 20 riders and watching half of them crash at the long left
hander .. under that sign..

that would be classic

i want everyone to be as fast and good as possible when TTrophy 2 hits the stores..👍

the shifting of weight is suuuper critical
(i no when i finally figured out the weight distribution thing my lap times got ALOT quicker)

( watch those moto gp races....
some great examples of how to shift weight as well as the reactions of the bike....
notice how they are using a lil-motard style in those races now.. very scary.. LOL )

if you watch my latest ONBOARD vid..
listen for when i come out of the corners ...
im so heavy on pushing the riders weight forward that i spin the wheels alot coming out of those corners....
killing my overall time..
i know i can break into the 7'26's...
i would really have to be in a zone then .. haha...( with a little purple )maybe

@ eddyac: so it does not work with TT played in a PS3 compatible to play ps2 games.
