GTPlanet, it's another "vs" forum, whereas you can pick one vs. the other.
This time, we tackle two Japanese machines. The Toyota Bb/Scion Xb vs. the Honda Element.
To make the thread simple in introduction, I'll start.
The Xb and Element are both whimsical at first glance. Both machines have a sort of back-heavy look to them. They resemble SUVs, but are more categorized as cars. To some, they are pretty ugly (and I can see why some would). Both cars appeal mostly to the tuner crowd. But the Xb looks more like the tuner type. The Element is for those college road trips, as reported in some media.
If I had to choose, I'd say the Element is a winner with the horsepower. I'd also say the Xb is good for carrying stuff and looking mean on the road. I think both have front-wheel drive. But choosing between these two is based on what you want to show off on the street. For the most part, the Element may be whimsical, the Xb may be whimsical as well. But look beyond that and give us your take.
