i recently got this in a trade and it's fantastic! turn off skid recovery and floor it

It's one of, if not the best race car in the game.

It's a fantastic car that can own any LeMans car on Circuit De La Sarthe. The damage model is surprisingly good for a standard car. I really love this car. Anyone who doesn't have this car, I strongly recommend you get it!👍

dont get it unless you trade for it because its a prize car.

it is very, very fast, but lacks the torquey feel of other cars.

the gt one and the c60 hybride are the fastest, the gt one by 1 mph or so.

although the peugeot 905 is still the only car i can get drafting 440 km/hr on indy track while the others only hit 420~ before i have to slow down

Skid recovery force? Don't use aids ever..

I do agree that the GT1 is a pretty damn sweet ride.

yeah i learned that aids ruin the expeirience but wow the gt-1 is scary good

Y'know, I've got it, but forgot all about it. I'll have to pull it out and dust it off and take it for a drive!

hmm, will have to try it. I've been using the bentley speed 8 for LMP races and loving that.

i bought this car from the UCD. As soon as i saw it i had to have it. I didn't care about price (even tho it wasn't that expensive). This was my favorite car way back in GT2. And the fact that the Drift King was one of the drivers for it makes it reason #2 why it had to be in my garage :)

Lucky for me, In my birthday I got my Nissan R89C race car as a gift present from PD :)...

Toyota GT-one, Toyota Minolta Race Car, Nissan R89C/R92CP, Mercedes Sauber, Mazda 787B....those are real a hell of a fast cars....

Just went and did La Sarthe in it for a few laps (3) in the rain. Have to say... Meh. It was nice, but I've gotten to like the Nissan R92CP a bit better. Both will hit 240+ on the Mulsanne Straight (before the first chicane) with no draft, but the R92 (to ME, anyway) feels more stable, less twitchy. A touch less understeer, too, from what I just experienced.

And the R92 has more than a hundred HP on the GT1, to boot. :)

Yeah the R92 is nuts

Which isn't to say that the GT1 is NOT nuts - it is. It's just that I guess I expected more out of it. It's heads and tails above *most* of the cars in the game, but on a pretty even footing with cars like the R92, R89, Toyota-Minolta 88C, Sauber C9, etc.

I still haven't gotten my hands on the Jaguar XJR9 LM car - it's a tough beast to have to run against, though, so I'd like to see how it feels in my hands.

I should probably retract the "Meh" comment above, or modify it a bit. The GT1 isn't really "meh"-worthy - I just didn't find it a revelation after driving the R92 for most of the day! If someone offered me one in real life, I wouldn't turn it down, though. ;)

i think its the greatest car to never win le mans... now seriously why would you drive with SRF on?!?

Well if you're a DS3 user, SRF makes life a little easier.

Sure it's realistic, but screw realism when my thumbs have to do an enduro race.

Edit: Anyone notice that the GT-One and the C9 have exact the exact same sounds?

 I only use SRF on rally time trials:nervous:

The C9 and GT-One have had the same engine sound since GT4 (or GT3 even)👎

they're both wicked, but what gets me is the tyre squeel from 0-3rd gear

I love it but honestly I need tc-1 when driving it. I try to keep all aids off on all cars but this one is pretty touchy coming out of a corner. I spend more time watching my throttle than being competitive. Plus the ds3 doesn't have the most finest throttle sensitivity.

I had a Toyota One for Gran Turismo 2-3..... best car ever although the Panoz Esperate (I misspelt the name :/) I've used a few times on GT4...

No C9 in GT3, but I wonder why PD decided both cars should sound the same, when in reality the GT-One sounds like a European sports car while the C9 sounds like an American one.

What makes the GT-One so mesmerizing is that even though it didn't win the Le Mans 24 hrs, it completely changed the way how cars were designed to win that race.

If it had indeed won the race, I'd say the GT-One would be on equal footing, or even above the 787B, given the ultra-good competition it faced in 99.

I just won the car by completing 24hr La Sarthe in B-Spec, and it is incredible.
Stuck some racing softs on it, and it was absolutely fantastic.
Its easily one of my favorite (and potentially best) cars of the game, anybody who see's it in the UCD, and doesnt want to wait until the end of B-Spec to win it, i highly urge you to buy it.
