Who else would make those stupid, Kei car-based tin boxes?

Well, other than Hyundai...

The Australian market remains a mystery to me. All the cars seem to look the same, yet are totally different...

If I lived in the UK, I'd have a Suzuki Liana and a Ford Fusion, the first based on the acronym of its name ("Life in a new age" - sexy) and the second because of its general coolness. Am I right?!

I wouldn't have a Daihatsu. Toyota profits but no Toyota charm (if 'charm' is the proper word). Weak, weak cars. It's interesting to see what people are stupid enough to buy in the UK - you feel like wringing their necks and saying, 'there were better cars available!'

In my car park at work there are three people who have bought a NEW Hyundai Atoz.

I just want to hit them until they see sense... My car - my 4yo MX-3 V6 with 50,000mi now - cost far less to buy, costs marginally more to run and is about 78.4 times more likely to leave me alive after a 60mph crash. And has twice as many cylinders. Plus all the mod cons, like a fully integrated hands-free mobile phone point, CD/Radio/Cassette (which swivels), air conditioning, a working heater, working headlights, working windscreen wipers, a passenger side door mirror...

That said, I'm crazy enough to want a 1994/5 Honda NSX as my next car.
