This has a 2GR-FE??? I thought this had an Inline-4 or something like that...

How about neither? And honestly I would rather have another gtr. That Toyota is slow ugly and has no appeal. It just wouldn't be fun.
You can't say something like that. Fun is not limited to simply going fast or sideways 24/7, fun is something everyone has to feel for themselves. The sensation of fun does not depend on the car, it depends on you and what you are doing with the car. Every car can be fun, from the most outrageous of V12 Hypercars to even the ****tiest 80hp FWD Econobox, you simply have to make the most out of what you got.

There are a ton of inexpensive fun cars, but none of which are people carriers. Ford Fiesta ST, Dodge Dart SRT (2010), Ford Focus ST, Citron DS3, Toyota 86, and Volkswagen Golf GTI are all fun inexpensive cars. There has never been a time where driving a people carrier, or the thought of driving a people carrier for me has been a fun experience. If people carriers were so much fun then there would be a cult following of tuners that would improve them like other cars.
BTW This is the only fun people carrier in the world:

It has 2 IndyCar engines in it and was driver by Simon Pagenaud at Pikes Peak.

Has anyone of you seen Top Gear's "Historic People Carrier Racing Championship"?
Also there are already enough people who tune their People Carriers. Ever heard of the TH2RS? VW Multivan with Porsche GT2 engine, 800hp and 660lb-ft, top speed 193mph.
Walter Röhrl approved:

You can even buy one from Toyota itself, it's called Vellfire G Edition. Give me ten years or so, and I might even start my own tuning company that specialises on People Carriers. ;)

Good to know I can get my kid to a soccer game twice as fast and get all the soccer moms. Thanks for the info. Also you might go outta business ;)

Fun is something simply not found in this vehicle anywhere

Damn. You are a boring person.
I'm sorry, but the guy who's suggesting a Toyota mpv for gt is calling me boring? XD good one :)
In the above comments you suggested that Porsche engined vw van, which actually looks like huge fun. See, I would rather have something like that.

You don't seem to get my idea behind this thread. You see, those silly vehicles like the Midget, 2CV, 500, that
amphibious VW thing and what not always were a big part of the fun in GT for me, because they are just so completely different from the usual sports cars and always provided great racing and laughs online with friends and
like-minded simply due to their complete lack of speed and the hilarious replays. I once found a lobby where everyone was drifting Kei-Cars just for fun and it was absolutely superb. That is why I suggested this brick of a Van, simply because I have fun driving these things.

What the...? boring people dont talk about not wanting to drive... whatever that piece of crap is! you sir have no logic! and ok, silly cars like the 500 and the 2cv are pointless, but at least they are interesting! the only reason i would ever buy this car in GT is to enter like the wind, turn around and try to ram the opposition. and i have the tank car and the G4, and the fireblade, and the Scwimmenwagon, and the samba bus, and almost every other car that has no use to me in the GT games. this car would get PD allot of hate if they added it. people were upset about the GT5 racing car DLC for gods sake!

You forgot the espace f1 ;)

Fun Fact : This car used to have it's name mistaken as "Bellfire" (ベルファイヤ or ベルファイヤー) in Japan, until Toyota decided to call the car in katakana, rather than using alphabets. (ヴェルファイヤ).

Oh god, 276HP in a people carrier! Then again, Cadillac don't have issues putting more than that in their Escalades. This looks like it could destroy some unwary sports cars when tuned

If that ever happed, just tune the sports car!

Presenting an opinion as a fact is something that only stupid people do.
'Twas an over the top statement not to be taken literally. I wasn't for this car, basically.

Looking back on this, I feel different. I quite like the looks and it has lots of power. If somome informed me this car was fun to drive, I'd change my mind for sure.

Edit: those posts from me last year were rather arrogantly put, and I do apologise.

Fair enough I hadn't even noticed the dates on them, I can hardly hold something you said a year ago against you

Gazoo Racing Vellfire 2016

And this should be in GT :

Tom's also have quite a range of performance product for Vellfire ( mostly suspension, chassis, fuel controler and brakes )

People mover can be fun too, I have driven Honda Odyssey, Toyota Tarago, Nissan Serena ( SR20DE to SR20DET conversion ), Mitsubishi Delica 4WD Turbo, they have much lower power than Vellfire, except for the Serena , but a blast when driven hard, preferably in quiet damp roads  Imagine the car in premium GT7

.........This is a Toyota? From same folks that gifted us with Aquila? And Prius?
.........Good thing I didn't lose hope for mankind. Utterly horrendous to look at, but still, I'm captivated by its ballsy attitude. Got my like. 👍👍
