Anyone else seen the Toy's R Us commercial where the dad comes running down the stairs, jumps the railing, crashes through a table..dirt and pottery and wood splinters flying everywhere as he lands on his butt , beating the kids to the main floor when the wife comes home and announces "Hey guys, I got the new Gran Turismo!"

Haven't had a laugh like that in a long time ( of course, I could completely see me doing that to my kids too :sly: )
 
I just saw it this morning for the first time, but my girlfriend thinks she saw it a couple years ago. Clever of them to word it the way they did, so they can use it again and again for each new GT that comes out.
 
That WAS me. My wife was all happy for me.

She just let me play while she got her Sims ready for Sims2 University which came out the week after GT4.

I'm telling you guys... if you can find a wife that loves video games you're set!!!
We played SOCOM II till the wee hours in the morning, night after night when it came out. Now it's CounterStrike Source.

The odd time she'll play GT with me but it's one of those games that you can't play half assed. GT is an all or nothing!!! I LOVE IT!!!
 
It was originally "Hey guys, I got the new Madden 2005!" I just guess they love that concept of a commercial
 
Yup, I saw that commercial a few days ago too. And yeah, like TS1AWD said before, that represents alot of people on GTPlanet, including me!
 
yea I saw it, I thought it was pretty good. I could see myself doing that when I have kids. I also saw a Wal-Mart commerical that was about GT4. ANyone else see that one?
 
Yes!!! I saw th is commercial last night and the first thing I thought of was to post about it here. You beat me to it :) Hilarious commercial btw!
 
Back in the day my parents used to put my sisters and I to bed so they could play River Raider on the Atari 2600. Looks like funny advertising, but in a lot of cases it can be true (:
