If anyone wishes to practice for race 1, the weather forecast will be similar to this.
Practice is recommended for the 2nd half of the forecast where the race will go into dry conditions. The risk of crashing on damp patches and curbs is extremely high so you may decide to play it safe and stick with wet weather tyres longer than you might expect.

I hope to host some practice lobbies into next week.

Race Day Notice

Hi everyone, I’m looking forward to tonights race. Qualifying will start at 10pm uk time (unless we are all ready earlier),which is just under 8 hours from now. Just a few last minute things:

  • Don’t forget to double check your bop settings and give your cars a fresh oil change.
  • Track limits are 2 wheels on the red/white curbing. 4 wheels on the green is beyond track limits and will require a short lift to nullify any advantage gained.
  • Slicks are lethal on wet curbs.
  • The pit exit will remain wet for most of the race. You will lose around 10s creeping out on slicks so do factor this into your strategy calls. Also when you take control of the car at the pit exit is extremely slippery, I advise setting tc to a high setting to help you on the way out of pit lane.
  • We are completing 1 formation lap for the race start, please pair up coming into the final sector and the leader can ‘go’ at any point out of the final corner.
  • “Safety Cars tend to breed more Safety Cars” so for Safety Car restarts we will remain in single file and please be extra cautious around each other.
  • Don’t be afraid to crank up the tc, it’s a much better system than it was in GTSport.
  • Qualifying will only be 5 minutes and we will go straight into the Race once completed.

Most of all have fun and enjoy the event

What an amazing race that was. I don't think the weather could've thrown any more as us, absolutely treacherous conditions until the end. Thanks to everyone for sticking it out. Congratulations to @Drex124 on an incredible drive to take the win and @Adam Barber and @GT5Apex with a close finish for the final podium positions and @MaxAttack on his pole position.

For those interested I will have the race results and scoring updated for next weekend. I would like to thank everyone for their clean driving and sportsmanship. Its a pleasure to drive with you all as always. I haven't heard or seen anything of any concern but if any complaints are going to be made can they be submitted to me privately by Thursday please.

My race was really enjoyable, I raced almost everyone on the grid at some point which is always fun. I fell back at the start and got embroiled in the chasing packs battle as the lead group pulled away from us. We had some incredible racing given the conditions with us being 3 wide at some points. I managed to have a bit of fuel left over as the others pitted so I stayed out for some clean air and jumped on Inters for the first stop knowing how difficult it would be on slicks with the track still fairly wet. The Inters were waring pretty quickly making another stop for slicks inevitable but the rain came again and completely flipped the grid with those on slicks caught in real trouble. The rest of my race was a long battle with @Michelin Man who was really pushing hard as we battled through the traffic and the changing conditions. My lengthy first stint payed dividends here as I could go longer and have a shorter stop at the end which put me in a surprise podium position. Coming back out on slicks I fell victim to a couple of wet curbs and was caught by @Adam Barber and @GT5Apex who both had superior pace and were able to pass me a pull away in the final laps. Great racing.

I'm really looking forward to the next race, the sunrise at Bathurst is the best. I will confirm everyone's availability a week before the next race so I have time to organize reserves, and hopefully we will have another full grid.

Cheers all

I made far too many mistakes to say I had a good performance last night, but it made for an enthralling race that I enjoyed regardless. Especially in that first stint where all of us in the 2nd pack were bunched up.

I started on Inters, which I don't regret to be honest. I just made too many errors to make use of them. Didn't change tyres until it was dry enough for Mediums. Was concentrating so hard that I forgot to fuel save too, hence the extra stop late on

The rest of my race was a long battle with @Michelin Man who was really pushing hard as we battled through the traffic and the changing conditions.

We had some superb side-by-side action, along with @RacingGrandpa, @Chevy Heavy and many others in that first stint . For the most part of that we rarely more than 3s away from each other. Think we could have enjoyed even more battles had fuel saved enough to not take that late stop!

Looking forward to Bathurst in a months time 👍.

Hi guys
Thank you for the race and congratulations for everyone.
I'd like to apologize for the problems I may caused :( . @TPC_DarkCobra47 I have no idea, how I managed to spin you out at the finish line :( . I'm sorry :( .
Also at least 1-2 times I almost killed one (or both?) Ford GTs. @Drex124 @Michelin Man Sorry guys :( .
I always had hard times letting the faster cars go, it looks like I still have. Those blue flags just freeze my brain every single time :dunce:.

I wasn't in a Ford GT so I had no problems. Really, just stay on the racing line without defending and it's up to the faster cars to pass safely.

Was great racing with you again!!

We will probably be needing a couple of reserve drivers for Bathurst. I will be chasing full time drivers next weekend (15/16th) to confirm their availability and will then be asking for reserves Monday/Tuesday (17/18th) once I know how many we need.

(Please don’t confirm availability until I ask, I’m easily confused :dunce:)

@Kermit_2142 I reckon Harrison should be put at the top of the reserve list, as he has chosen a Porsche he is clearly the most qualified of those who have applied 👍
Hahah appreciate it, I will obey team orders as well I’m very well aware of who the number #1 driver is.

Edit: Pigems I sent you a friend request as well, I’ve had max added for as long as I can remember, was unsure whether you host or not.
