My Losail votes, 1 for A, 1 for E

Also, my entry for Kuala Lumpur. The pit straight would be purpose built using the unused dual carriageway going onto the park, as well as Turns 1 and 2 (Turn 2 is the right kink after Turn 1). Everything from Turn 3 onwards is all on public roads. At 4.167miles/6.7km, I know it's probably a bit long for F1, so it might be used for GT racing instead.

This is my first entry.

http://gmap-pedometer.com/?r=5928624

I had wanted to have a complex first sector followed by a fast section. The second section is in the middle of the first long-ish straight. It leads to a few 90-degree corners, and a hairpin that leads to the fastest straight and to the front pits. 2.7mi/4.37km

I forgot to mention, this track is Counter-clockwise.

2 for F this week.
Kuala Lumpar entry http://www.gmap-pedometer.com?r=5929212
A gruelling 81 laps here to complete this GP.
Quite a few heavy braking areas, with numerous up to 4th/5th and back to 2nd sections.
Very hard on the car and driver being a quick lap.

The extra limitations reduced the creativity and meant we had less entries.
In half a dozen other circuit design competitions, that has never been a problem. If anything, it was your decisions to say "I don't like the task you set, so I'm going to do whatever the hell I want" that killed it.

You didn't even enter your round, screwing the rest of us up without joining in.
There was a reason for that: it was to remain impartial. Someone claimed that I had set the extra conditions to give myself an advantage, so I didn't enter to demonstrate that I stood nothing to gain from it.

Good riddance, country club!

I admit to taking inspiration from Monaco, St. Petersburg, Pau, Porto, and Macau, and thus I wanted to make a high-speed city course, complete with an almost flat-out single file (double if you dare, like Spa's Eau Rouge) set of chicanes and fast sweepers, mixed with extremely long, treacherous braking zones, leading to extremely tight corners (like St. Petersburg; let the bumping begin.)

Edit: Link is here

Whoops, kinda forgot about this.
Anyway

The next round is a new type. I call it the Island Rally Stage.
In this round, a smallish island is chosen and you have to come up with a rally stage, of any surface, between 4 and 15 miles long. Used routes must be satisfactorily visible.
To start, we will use the Isle of Bute in Scotland. Same rules apply over multiple road uses. If it is a rubbish idea, it will be canned after this round, otherwise it will become part of the city/circuit rotation.

An example stage/my entry: http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=5948810

Sorry mate, I missed the used roads must be satisfactorily visible line, must of got a bit ahead of myself.
I'll fix it and replace the existing one.

^ inspiration. Take note of the sharp hairpins, this is the main design influence in my rally stage at the start.

And the actual stage. Envision it during the middle of a frigid Scottish winter, with icy/snowy roads and plenty of ice at the end of the stage; near the lake. Among the other things you should notice, is how I took the "Serpentine Rd." and made it even more treacherous, by making it slowly build in speed to egg the drivers on.

I see that the serpentine road in Rothesay is a favourite for everyone. To be honest, it was that road that made me choose Bute as the first island.

You and I aren't quite everyone. Close, but no cigar. It does look like a fun road. I took your idea, reversed it, warped it, and shortened it. Drastically.

Great idea, doing rally stages. It should open up some creative streches of road suitable for rallying. Anyway, my Ilse of Bute stage. You'll need to zoom in to see the roads, but they are all useable roads, I believe. http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=5950779. Also, my votes for KL will come soon, I just need to decide which ones to vote for.
