We had one in GT5, can we please get one in GT6? Bonus points if I can use a GPS enabled device to record tracks that I drive in real life and have the track editor load that data and create a track based on the GPS data (the exact route driven) plus any changes in altitude. That would make this the greatest driving sim game of all time. Just saying.

I'll believe it when I see it. The point of this is that they should deliver the features they promised us. So this should be at the top of the list. When they've delivered on their promise, then look at other suggestions.

Take it to The GT6 Epic Whining and Crying thread. Here is not the place to do it.

Is the feature in the game? No? Then I am requesting it. There is a greater than zero chance that this feature will be withheld for GT7 on the PS4 since we are getting no updates on the release of this feature. And the point of this feature request is to demonstrate demand to see it in GT6. Clear?

Maybe in the future gt6 will import some real tracks from google maps. I hope that's true !!
And this may be the reason why for now track edit function is not available.

No. The suggestion forum is for suggestions. Seeing as this is already a planned part of the game, this is not necessary.

The current plan of record is at http://www.gran-turismo.com/us/products/gt6/

It reads, as of today, that they plan to roll out your request in two future updates:-

Course Maker

This feature, available at a later stage through an update, will allow you to create your own custom tracks that can be driven in the game.

Additionally, in another update we will add the possibility to generate a track by capturing the GPS coordinate data of a mobile app while you are driving that course. This GPS-generated tracks will be available in the game as playable content.
GT6 has been out for less than 4 months, so let's assume it's still on its way. If 4 months isn't fast enough for you, then @nascarfan1400 has a great suggestion for you

Our evidence about sums it up. Reported OP, see if it can't be closed. Thanks for your help Possum. 👍

Well, I guess a mod will have to decide. I say until they announce something definitive (more so than "later stage"), this is a valid feature request.
