There are to less tracks in GT Sport! No Problem, if they bring back a trackeditor to the series. But not a tablet-online-tool. In-game, perhaps a little bit like in GT5 but with a possibility to edit the generated track. What do you think about this idea?

Now there is no more racing-game with a trackeditor, because it was taken away from us by PD. This is really a shame!

I disagree with the no tablet part of your idea. While an in-game editor would be useful, using the touch pad, you still have more scope for more detailed editing with a stand alone program that connects to GTS. While i'm not overly keen on using a tablet I would still support the use of a tablet based program as there are some serious limitations (memory space being the biggest one) to a console based program. Saying all that a laptop or PC program linked to the GTS/PSN account would be the most ideal, and very possible. Not only do PC's/Laptops open up so much space for editing there is the dexterity of the mouse and keyboard. If poly used GT6 as the base and allowed a 3d track level view with camber editing and more detailed object placement, not to mention finer width and turn editing we could produce some exceptional tracks. Use the basic editor to set your basic layout and length, using the track level editor for cambering and other technical and dynamic detailing. Add in a few new features such as tunnels and bridges and we could have a few new Monaco's and Suzuka's
 
This would be really cool if you had full control over your courses as there would be some amazing creations by the community.
 
It would probably never happen but if they let people use custom tools to build tracks and then import them into the game, sort of like you can with custom decals, that'd be great. I guess that would present the issue of uniformity between different programs being used but perhaps they could specify some kind of requirement for that.
 
Less than likely to happen on gts as its not a full fat gt game. More than likely appear on the next full fat gt game.

Add to that the general need for GTS read the creation. Something tells me the limits of the GT6 creator was more the fact that the game engine has to recognise and read at haste the details of the content. Overly complex details would be a pig and lead to mapping issues. Since the PS4 is a more powerful machine than the PS3 a greater complexity is possible, but loops and half pipes might be a little much ;) :)

Give it time. We've a ways to go until this game is done and Poly has already shown some grace on the casual gamer with a career mode of sorts.
 
I don’t think it’ll be an expansive feature. Most likely, it’ll be a few tracks to choose from with limited options.

Perhaps GT7 will end up being released on a next gen playstation so plenty of processing power. I, for one, never really cared for the track editor but it was a nice addition
