Can I vote for both???

No>

Ok then the Ring with 128 out of 10 then Spa with 127.9999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999 out of 10.

Modern Spa vs the best bit of the Old Nurburgring.... hardly fair. Modern Spa is a pale shadow.

Old Spa vs New Ring - Old spa wins. Burnenville, Masta and Stavelot and the whole of the fastuphill highspeed section to La Source ... proper high speed stuff -

But in GT5 - Nurburgring wins... I'd even say the modern F1 track has a better flow that the Modern itteration of Spa

Wo-ho! That's some emphasis on the word hate. Why would anyone hate such a beautiful, demanding, breath and lifetaking track?

Oh and yea, I sure as hell voted for THE Ring!

Usually when people hate something it's because they aren't very good at it.. Now I'm not sure if this is Scott's reason but...

lol at eliminating one of the two greatest tracks in the world in round 1.

I'll go with Nurburgring by a very slim margin, due to the fact that it accommodates both slow cars and fast cars.

I'll abstain from voting. Spa's the better racing track, while the 'Ring is the better driving track.

I'm thinking the Op is a secret hater of both tracks! Why else would he pit possibly the two best tracks in the game against each other in the very first round marking at least one for elimination. If the tracks in game were divided into brackets these tracks would both be #1 seeds. Sorry won't be voting on this one as I won't be part of knocking either of these out just to thin out the great real world tracks so some fantasy tracks have a better shot at going farther.:odd::drool:

...conspiracy!

How the hell is anyone voting for Spa?

That's blasphemy, the nordschliefe is the greatest track of all time, no question.

Is it because you said nurburgring instead of nurburgring nordschliefe? I will admit, the GP course in my opinion is like an ugly wart that should be cut off of the ring. On its own the GP course is good, but I think the full nurburgring 24h layout sucks. I hate the 24h layout.

Sure, Spa is probably better for racing in some cars, but Spa is also incredibly boring in most cars. Really the only time Spa is even enjoyable is in high powered race cars. It's a high speed track. High speed tracks are boring, look at high speed ring, or monza. 2 of the most boring tracks in GT5.

To me Spa is only as brilliant as people say it is with the right car. The nordschliefe is incredible with every single car ever made, you just can't fault the ring, it's the perfect driving track and easily better than Spa. Really, Spa isn't even better than bathurst, VIR or macau, or monaco, let alone the ring.

You sure do like pushing your own opinion as fact, don't you?

I love Spa because it feels so open and fast. Nurburgring is very good and technical but you just start feeling a bit claustrophobic sometimes! Spa is also a bit shorter and faster, but with really good technical chicanes and of course Eau Rouge is always good fun when you have a pack of cars bumper to bumper. I just find Spa more engaging and flowing whilst Nurburgring feels like I'm always on edge and is just less rewarding for some strange reason imo.

The Ring has always felt like measuring stick. I'm not a fan of it for racing, but it's fine for tuning. Spa on the other hand, is a track for racing. It looks the best in the game to boot IMO.

+1 for Spa
