I just don't want to hold anyone up. I'll show up see how I go but if I'm desperately slow, I'll park it.
 
i don't see it as holding anyone up!, there are always faster and slower tracks for cars so just look for a really confident solid point scoring round to move up the standings! :) you are a great driver!, just stick with it and when the points all reset at the finals go for gold! :)
 
Definitely keening up for tonight!

Got my shower out the way once I got home so I don't have to worry about getting anything done after tea, with a bit of luck I might have the room open earlier for those who want some extra practice!

GREAT racing last night guys!

congrats the Evil on the first win and Ben on his 2nd.

I felt like James Courtney in race 2, no instruments and intermittent sound, was actually kinda cool in a way, the game has a problem with no organic car issues (which it should i guess, how difficult to do natural engine issues!) but this was like ok, your car has partially failed, deal with it and save as much points as possible. was really challenging and amazing and one of my fav races!...

also, in the last race after a shocking start i was shuffled back to last, fighting back through that pack was incredible!, no one gives an inch!, everyone driving HARD and clean and VERY fast, for a second i thought, omg i am not going to be able to get out of this, again, thoroughly satisfying fighting for every position back into 2nd. The replay will be great! :)

Congrats to Itz on his wins!

LOL NW, the internet has become increasingly testing as the series has gone on, maybe its the seasonal change as the air def feels fuller down here at the moment...

As for your races, dc's SUCK!, but CONGRATS on your 4th, its only a matter of time before you get on the podium!, you are VERY fast, its just about keeping your emotions together and fighting on!, you will never be the only one experience race issues so just plod on and you will keep getting great results!

Also Itz is running a very good series, it would be appreciated by all racers if you would be a bit more respectful in his room. If a mistake is made regarding the start or results of a race it really doesn't warrant such a response. We all just want to have a great time and if there is a slight delay its absolutely no issue so please just be chill and the racing will be agreeable for all!.. :) also no need to take this as any sort of attack as its simply something that needs to be addressed.


Any plans for another big prac session Itz?, we had 6 or so peeps in that one the other day, was great to see!
 
thanks MT. as far as i seen, ITZ was helping another driver out with car settings with good heart, by doing so, i think he had to change cars and forgot to change back. it was an honest mistake. personally, it didn't worry me...but i can see the frustration from others point of view. the race must go on, no matter what. but whats done is done i guess, lets get ready for next week ;)

MT, man, i just didn't have it in me in that last race, i was crook as a dog, and it really showed last race, my lap times went up 1 to 2 seconds per lap. but in the end, you deserved 2nd place and you earned it bud, and im sure you would have got it regardless of my excuses ;)

i actually thought it was bencrow catching me, like he does best! but after MT passed me at like 2 or 3 laps to go, my aim was to not spin out, because i knew bencrow would jumped on me lol. i knew someone spun out, but i didn't know who before MT caught me. watching the reply of 3rd race, and to see bencrow spin out in the same spot, man, bad luck.

congrats to ITZ for the win man, you're fast. but...that last race, 3rd corner of the first lap needs reviewing. :D

EDIT: i mean bencrow not bencow, sorry man.

LOL Evil, sucks you were not feeling so good! WELL DONE on the win in that case!, driving a normal car is hard enough when under the weather so hitting those breaking points and keeping on top of your game is def worth a few kudos!
Is really great having you and the new guys in the series! everyone has brought some serious pace! (again, being jostled to the back in race 3 was an experience!, there were no easy passes from last to 2nd!)

RE: the race issues, had a quick chat to NW, he was just overly excited lol!! ;) but is really chill with what i asked so A-OK there :) Starting the race again was def fine by me and from the back of the grid was a nice gesture i think!. lol, was entertaining!! made it like a real race weekend with a few things for admin to iron out on the fly ha ha ha ha!

All in all i think this series has an amazingly nice and talented group driving in it. is really good we can voice a concern and have it looked at without anyone thinking they are being attacked, i have read in a few other series some pretty full on arguments and just general ill willed msgs, i really like having found this series so thank you all for that!



how bloody persistent is Bencrow? FAST and hard as nails, is a great addition to the Alfa squad! love that he is helping give you Opels a rough up ;) !!

I still think soks would have taken a win in that race, his pace at Roma (7's) and consistency in general is undeniable!

I wouldn't call it overly excited, though, more just a rare burst of immaturity. Looking for a new member for my Mercedes Motorsport team so we can fill all the spaces up.
 
Don't worry about misspelling my name evil, i've had plenty of people say bencow instead of bencrow. I'm really happy with the racing in this series. I was always trying to find good lobbies for racing but there was always that 1 guy who deliberately screwed everyone over. I'm surprised i'm doing as well as i'm doing at the moment. I don't think I would be doing as well as I am if it wasn't for MTLA, he shares his tunes with me every week and he's always helping others as well.

Drivers Involved: NW48 & erracht2

Entering turn 5 of lap 2 contact was made between NW48 and erracht2, resulting in NW48 spinning out and and erracht 2 also collecting the wall. As a result of this erracht2 remained in 6th position after falling behind Plugga_Keynesy and NW48 subsequently dropped from 5th place to 8th place. Following an investigation of the race replay by the stewards ‘ItzRacing’ and ‘MTLA1984’ , it was deemed by the steward that the incident was result of lag by NW48 resulting in erracht2 being caught unaware and lag punting NW48. The steward has decided no penalty will be applied as result.

Race 3

Rule: Contact

Drivers Involved: ItzRacing & Evilss

Entering turn 5 of lap 1 contact was made between ItzRacing and Evilss, resulting in Evilss falling behind ItzRacing. The direct result of the incident was that ItzRacing moved into 1st and Evilss dropped back to 2nd place. Following an investigation of the race replay by steward ‘MTLA1984’ the following was determined. “On approach to turn 5, Evilss, in the lead moves to the far left of the track to open the right hand corners angle. During this time ItzRacing takes the opportunity to continue a shallower line into the same corner. Before the apex, ItzRacing clearly shows he has taken advantage as Evilss and ItzRacing make medium but fair contact in the middle of the corner. This is further amplified by Evilss correcting back into ItzRacing on exit, further slowing him down. All in all, the pass is fair if a little unfortunate for Evilss.” Steward deemed that no penalty is to be applied.

same goes for anyone in the series, we are all here to help so if anyone has issues with the handling or pace of their respective cars or finding the most out of a track, send a msg and we can get to work! i think the series is far more enjoyable with more competitive drivers fighting for the podiums so dont mind at all helping anyone find a bit more time on track through working out the car.

Evilss has been a megga surprise! from the first few laps he ran with us at spa i knew he was good, but WOAH!, well done on taking 2nd for the round, and sick the whole time! seriously great effort my man!

Am really liking this trail mountain track also! i only ever really raced on the traditional world circuits so visiting these places i only did a few laps on 'in game' is rather enjoyable!

will have a room open today for prac at around 6pm est anyone is welcome!

any luck finding another merc runner NW?

Great to see you are taking initiative and showing pride in your team and manufacturer to try and fill the final position. Hopefully we can get that last spot filled before the finals.

i have a replacement battery and power cable for my laptop and it cost about $60 or so all up if i remember correctly.
had given me another year so far and is running great!..... hope it all resolves and you can be back asap!

ok got a new and modern modem from ISP ... seems good. didn't get much track time yesterday due to chauffeur duties. Ya MT me and the wife have separate internet as she has her business downstairs and internet is so slow here don't want it interfering with my racing hehehe Also NO definitely not cheap internet here.
On the bright side .. fibre optic is being laid a couple of hundred metres from our house. Tech guy says their target is for it all to be hooked up by next year.... here's hoping

Sorry, I won't be able to race tomorrow. Got some School Awards Ceremony. I sorta have to go as I'm receiving 7+ awards and a possibility of receiving a few "Special" Awards. Trust me, I would much rather be racing with you guy's. As I always say;

We are certainly nearing the end of the season now, with only 2 rounds remaining before 'The Finals' begin.

There is only one thing to mention in this drivers briefing so it will be brief.

Track Limits

The decision has been made to allow everyone to use as much track as they want to. I came to conclusion that the track limits would be too hard to police, so to make it fair for everyone, You can use any paved surface on the circuit. This means you can cut the yellow lines on the corner before and also at the end of the back straight, along with crossing the white lines at the final chicane.

8:00pm - Qualifying Begins
8:10pm - Race 1 Begins
Races 2 and 3 take place after Race 1.
