Track temp. affecting drive-ability?

Hey all,
Just as the title says...has anyone noticed if the track temperature affects the drive-ability of cars...especially the higher powered cars? Just curious....

It does seem to affect heat build up in the tires, even when tire wear is off. I do think this has a small effect on handling. Mostly, I feel that the tires can take a slight bit more or less braking power depending on track/temperature.

I was kinda thinkin' it does. Reason I ask is because I noticed, (at least I think I noticed) a slight difference between some of the cooler track temps, like the 66 degree tracks, that I didn't quite have the same amount of traction while powering out of corners with high powered cars. The warmer tracks seem to give a tad more traction. Or I'm just imagining things. If anyone else noticed this, let us know...at the very least to prove I'm not crazy...or I am...either way....I'm cool with it.
