Trackmania Nations is a completely free game that you can download. It is 250MB, and you can create your own tracks, as well as share them online. It uses the Sunrise engine, and oly has one enviroment, but it was originally built for the ESWC (Eletronic Sports World Cup).

Great, hopefully we can organise a GTP game. I'll d/l this later (downloading BF2 demo (even though I have the game) for 'research' purposes).
 
Oh, BTW, It has the same editor as in Sunrise and Original, so you can create your own tracks. I have just started making my own track.

Just change any Sunrise TMUP link from either COAST, ISLAND, or BAY to STADUM. ;)
For example:

I would think that any model here should work.

The Hard time trials are like solving puzzles. Also, how do you download skins and extra cars? I've installed easyTM already...
 
if you set it up then Just change any Sunrise TMUP link from either COAST, ISLAND, or BAY to STADUM. iIt is located at the end of address. You have to do that, because otherwise it will try to install it into Sunrise (the paid version of the game, what I own). If you right click on the
tmup_logo.jpg
and select copy address location, and then you can paste it at the top of the address bar, and change the bit on the end to STADIUM (Casing is important). Easy TM should handle everything from there.

You used to be able to drift on Sunrise on the Coast car, but I do not know about Nations. You can do (sortof) donuts and burnouts though.
I have a 33 sec video of me doing donuts and burnouts, about 6 mins upload time left. same video link as always.
 
Ok then...what about skins? My Mclaren F1 looks a little plain. Sorry about all these questions...

iceman you need to install .Net framework 2.0 for easy TM to work.
 
Skins work too. Now my Mclaren looks niice.
 
Just change the engine sounds to the Coast Car engine sounds. Works perfectly. :D

Done the beginner and advanced tracks, now on the expert tracks. ;)

There are 7000 players online, TMS/TMO usually has 100-200. I guess they weren't prepared for such huge numbers. The master server is just laggy.

Just finished I-9. Luckily, I got gold the first time I finally managed to finish it, because I won't try it again... ever. :ouch:
 
Man this game kicks ass except it would kick ass even further if it had some wicked crash physics like Burnout in it. 👍
 
I tried I-9, and for some strange reason, it froze, had to make it quit from the task manager. :confused:

Got safe mode on, and I am going to go into ATi Catalyst to see if there is a option, what has been configured wrong (obiously I will not fiddle with SMARTGART settings, or my PC will not work)
 
Hi guys.

Can anyone please answer my question? Does TM Nations also use this copy protection driver as TM Sunrise? A colleague told me something about a driver Sunrise installs and that the driver is hardly to remove?
