Trading cars question

Is it possible to trade cars with other people? I been playing a long time but not much of the online aspects of the game. Thanks any help is great.

You can gift one car per day (up to a value of 950,000 credits) to anyone else you are friends with online.

Not a trade as such. You can agree to send someone a car, in return for them sending you a car.

Ok so I posted in the market place I want an iroc z. I don't have any friends on here? How do I add people and do I add them on my ps3 also to gift?

If someone is willing to trade with you, then you need to add each other as a friend on the PSN, via the PS3. Then you go into GT5, find the car you agreed to send, press triangle and select send car to friend.
