Trading Glitch: Received Doubles?

In a trade yesterday, I received a double of the same car, from the same person, at the same time. I know that they didn't intend to send two at once.

Anyone else have this happen?

If I trade one, will it send both?

Not quite this but I traded a minolta race car and the next time I played the game the car was back in my garage as if I never gifted it ( I 100% did and got confirmation of the fact btw)

Nope, you were just lucky. Their server probably uses a rollback feature whenever something goes wrong, and your connection got interrupted so it was duplicated.

The more I play this game, the more its starting to feel like Pokemon. XP grinding? Check. Gotta catch em all? Check. Cloning Cars? Check.

You have to time it right to the millisecond, it's almost impossible. There's at least a 100 instructions for the whole "operation" to be complete and it takes two seconds. You need to time interrupting the connection right after the one that sends the car before the confirmation instruction.

All of my dlc cars when i got the collectors edition got transfered to my friend that plays on my ps3 but under his file.

how about this..

I recieved a dodge truck from my friend, then i drove it then sent it back.. it started to send, then said "sending failed" and took the car away out of my garage anyway and my friend didn't recieve the car at all.. so the car was lost into space... then I tried to send him my mx5 and it said "sending failed" and that also vanished into thin air and nobody recieved it... luckily they were cheap... it would be horror if that happened with a million dollar car.. what should happen if a connection is lost or something is that it just stays in your garage.. but somehow it got to the point of taking my car but not reaching the friend... w..t..f... I did eventually get one car to send again.. not sure what the cause was.

even weirder though is like a week later my friend recieved a 22hp suzuki pop bang thingy.. lol.. did they notice cars were lost and decided to give him a 6 grand bomb to compensate?

Immediately press your PS button and quit game. Do not do anything else when that message appears. DO NOT CLICK ON THE MESSAGE.
