trading problem?

A client of mine had traded a x1 but i wasnt able to recive the car, when i accepted his freinds request his gt5 online id didnt come up. i then restarted the game and his name was black(not online). He then messasged me that he had sent the car but i didnt recive it?
 
Have you tried following it up with a paint chip just to push it through? Its happened to me once but this worked.. sometimes tho I think the server can be just slow for some people. Whats the time frames here?

How do you know he has sent it ? He may be conning you ? Unless you know the person well you cannot prove he did . Go check his registry page in his GT5 profile to verify if he gifted you the car.?

Pretty sure it only shows cars recieved not sent.
