Trails ???

when you pause the game and go to the display menu there is a setting for trails, and i noticed that when you turn it off the graphics become sharper and much more clear.

anyone know what it is for?

All Trails do is tell you when your car is upside down or about to explode. Thats all. I think.

Trails attempt to simulate motion blur by making the graphics blur as the game camera moves faster. In GTA3 I found it mildly annoying and eventually turned it off. In Vice City it actually made me nauseous so I turned it off right away.

I thought it was extremely stupid and pointless to have such violent amounts of blur in vc, I was gonna take it back until I noticed i could turn it off. It blurs everything so much and the colours go all yellow and **** like its supposed to recreate the 80's somehow.

i think in Vc its suposed to seam like its in the tropics at sunset, but i dont know if thats true

i personally think they just put the trails in there to piss everyone off!
