Well.. I don't mean to brag or anything but I'm half Danish and they won the world championships of handball... :lol:

This is my method.
1. set tranny to default
2. lower top speed setting to lowest
3. set 6th gear to highest
4. lower final gear until you get desired top speed in top right corner
5. change top speed setting from lowest, up one notch then back to lowest then reselect the lowest. you will see all gear numbers change.
6. set final to lowest possible
7. make a note of the speed in the right hand corner
8. reset to default again
9. set top speed to lowest
10. lower final gear until top speed in right hand corner is the previous speed noted in step 7
11. change top speed setting from lowest, up one notch then back to lowest then reselect the lowest. you will see all gear numbers change.
12. lower final gear to lowest setting
13. set 6th gear to highest setting, you should now have the desired top speed from step 4
14. set your gears 1 - 6 for a good run

some cars dont have 6 gears, some have 5 and some have 7, in that case just change the 6th gear in the steps above to 5th or 7th.

Don't do it the hard way, all you need to do is set tranny to default put final gear too 5.000 or 5.500 depending on car, lower top speed all the way and just bring final back down and adjust gears :)

After working on 1/4 mile d, this doesn't work. You want to end with the lowest final after flipping to shave off loads of time.
