Why is thier no option to add more or less gears to a trans. If your giving us crazy engine swaps that most of the time the trans can't keep up with the swaps?

You mentioned the word crazy. Wouldn't that mean the builds would get crazyer with a more flexible transmission?

On this note, i would love to see some variation in transmissions, I would love to put that 3 speed transmission from the Chapparal in other cars...

Or why woudn't you learn how to set up a transmission?

If one is not into tuning (then I wonder why mess up with swapps) then you can always do an online research and find a proper tune for your said crazy car.

Besides that, engine swapped cars can work wonders if the player dares to detuned them a little bit and find a more reasonable amount of power for it or should I say, make the car less crazy.

study gear ratios and what the numbers mean. tons of leverage can be gained from this knowledge. also the final gear works in tandem with the trans gear ratios.

I struggle with tuning in general, but gear ratios are one thing I did manage to learn from watching videos

I did have a laugh when I added a manual transmission to the 992 turbo S and it kept 8 speeds
