I've been playing this game for a while now. It's very addictive and quite enjoyable.

For anyone who hasnt heard about it, it is a game where you have yourself a country, and you have to design and build transport systems: trains, trucks, buses, ships and planes+helicopters. You also compete against other transport companies, but you can turn them off.

I play TT Original, mainly because when I was on 56k, I did feel like downloading the 13MB TT Deluxe, and have been hooked on TTO ever since.

I usually play with competitors turned off, it can spoil the fun but its still cool.
 
It looks very similar to an older one I've got called Industry Giant - I do the same, much more fun to set up the networks.
 
hmm when i clicked the start thingy.....it gave me some really weird screens.......woudl it do tha tif u have windows xp?
 
I have the deluxe version but it wont run in xp but it will run in ME can someone tell me how to make it run in xp plz anyone this is like my favorite old school game and i really want to play it again
 
the site ware it says to get the patch is no longer there i need the patch before i can do anything
 
Hahaha.. Delete it within 24 hours.. Pfft.. >_>

Oh, and incase you didnt know KM, the patch comes in the zip file with the Deluxe version. :)
 
I'm currently at 1939. This goes sooo slowly. $2.4million dollars, 21 trains, 3 road vehicles.

I really should use buses a lot more, they take less to run and make one hell of a profit, but designing and building a railway is so kewl.
 
I have downloads that have billions. But those ones are at 2025, 95 years down the track, and they earn about a million a minute. :eek:
 
Did any of u guys have what i call a y2k problem with all your trains,planes,and autos. When all of the sudden they allways go to the service yard all the time and never go back to there rotue or when they just go around in a loop it kind of look's like they are on strike. I had that lot of times but this was when i first got the game in 95

Yeah, I turn off the competition, get as many subsides as I can, and just look for combinations: Coal >> Power Station, Oil >> Refinery. Etc....

I have $25,000,000 now, my trains earn me $2.5mil a year.
 
that's some cool **** i turn of the comp too and get the subs but i will try out your plan thanks cobra
 
Wow, long time no post, currently at $19X,000,000 bank roll, 60something trains, 10-20 vehicles, 5 aircraft and 4 Ships somewhere in the 1980's, can't remember exactly because the damn screenshot didn't work, but I earn 9 million a year. This game is so sweet.
 
i completed it because it ends at 2020 and i couldnt buy any more transport because of the limits and i ended up with getting like a million everyfew minutes......the monorail when you get it is cool but i wish they added more types of monorail car into the game
I give the game a good thumbs up except for the hours and hours it takes to complete it.....by the way i bought this game when i was live 4 or 5 but i never got very far....i started on it again a couple of months ago, thats how i completed it.
