Traveling with my 360

Well, I'm going on vacation all this next week (I'm leaving tomorrow). It's only going to be about a 3 hour car ride, but does anyone have any tips on how to travel with the 360? Like what to carry it in so it doesn't get hurt, etc...?

There are specific bags sold out there to carry the 360 around, but they are expensive if you're not going to be travelling around much. One bag is this.

Other than that, I'm not too sure. Any padded bag maybe if it fits properly, or even the old box the 360 came in if you still have that.

If you're really cheap you could just wrap it in blankets and stuff it in the boot!

I'm not gonna go buy anything today so I think I'm just gonna wrap it in towels and stick it in my backpack.

I'd just cram everything in a backback, no bubblewrap, no towels, etc. I'd take out the disc first, though. I mean, unless you'll be using the backpack as a punching bag, the 360 won't even be close to breaking.

I think that's what I'll do. I'm sticking all my other electronics in there too so I should have enough room (laptop, all necessary cables for X360 and laptop, cellphone charger/data cable, power strip [gotta have enough outlets! ]).

It may not break getting biffed in a bag but i don't like my stuff to be all scratched or anything
