hey guys, was wondering what car i should take to the mountain.

You see i no longer want to wipe the floor with the competition, so i was wondering how tightly packed th race is?? Do the cars stay bunched or are there some tearaways i gotta watch out for.

I want to use a car that i'll have to jostle for position with, in other word's "race properly"

You'll find the usual crop of Japanese cars there, watch out for an NSX Type-Zero, or the 350Z, as they're quite quick.

There are two ways to go on this then: tortoise and hare, with you as the hare, or tortoise and hare, with you as the tortoise.

For the first of those options try a Vanquish on T6 tyres. That should give you a lot of pace but frequent visits to the pits. If you want to go the other way, try a Griffith 500 on T2s.

You could also try the NISMO 400R with T4 tires. I ran with T2 tires and blew them away cuz I didn't need to pit very often. It should be a closer race with T4 or T5 tires.
 
I believe you can't tune the Zonda because you can only use road cars...that are untuned.
I believe someone did it in an SS...it would've been hard.
 
I used a Lancer Evo VI GSR. If I recall correctly, I managed a 30 second win over the NSX.

you'd be surprised at the number of cars that can win this race. Tommy Kaira ZZS, Totyota MR-2, and yes, the Camaro SS.

I used the GT-One road car but it was very boring. I too would recommend a Nismo 400r, i used it in the polyphony cup and it was pretty evenly matched against the NSX, i usually won by over half a lap.
 
when i first did it it was in the R390 road car, far to fast for the race, might beat the GT1 road car though ;)
Maybe a R34 Vspec on T4's 5's perhaps? havent done it since

Yeah someone else in another thread had a pretty good nickname for you too. But I think it would be juvenille to repeat it here. Perhaps you might want to search for it? :lol:
