If my stock Chevrolet Camaro SS can easily beat it then the Corvette should have no trouble at all. :)

Right now my game is paused at 60:00:021 on the Rome Circuit 2 hour endurance. I am using my Black ZO6 and I have passed the second place Clio 3 times by lap 39. Since the preview showed a TVR Griffith I put on the Sport Intake and Muffler, Chip and Stage 1 NA. My ZO6 has 460hp and Super Slick tires. My ZO6 handles better on T2's than most cars handle with Super Softs!!! No joke, I still stand to it that this is the most amazing car in the world, and is definitely the best FR car in the game.( non-race car) Too bad there is no TVR, There is a Clio, 328i, S4, TT and a Fiat Coupe. There is no match but I am using sweet passing techniques without bumping anyone! Well wish me luck for the last half of the race.

good luck. :)
the ZO6 is most certainly one of the best production FRs in the game. i've never used it for an endurance race, but i do believe i used it for the Amateur Stars and Stripes, and i know i used it for the Amateur FR. if there's a Professional S&S, i probably used it for that too, but i can't recall.

The Z06 is more than capable to take this race. I have no doubt that you can easily lap the competition.

Super slicks, and a 3 pit strategy, should put you far enough in the lead.

If Mustang man can do it in a stock camaro SS, and I can do it in a lancer Evo VI GSR, it shouldn't be a probem in a Z06.

Let us know how it goes.

When you said "3 pit strategy" did you mean pit every 3 laps or pit 3 times in the whole 2 hours?

Three times in the whole race.

I pitted actually pitted on a more regular occasion than that.

My pits schedule was lap 12, 24, 37, 49, and 61. Finishing with more than a 45 second lead.

He'll have to take the mods off (assuming he hasn't lightened it or done P&P, neither of which is reversible.

I think the consensus is that if you can run a consistent 1':42" lap or so using T2s, you can win the TM Enduro.

If you can run a consistent 1:42 youll win if theres no NSX. If the NSX happens to be in the starting line up. He can pull a consistent 1:35

Big difference, just see if the NSX is in the race when you start.

cant use any mods at all (other than tyres and an oil change) used the R390 road car myself to do it in, but that was so long ago i couldnt tell ya's how fast i was going

toyomatt84: the Trial Mountain enduro requires a stock, non-race car. Oil change and tires are the only legal modifications.

exactly whats been said here at least 3 times
...does anybody read anymore?

Well I think the guy who was talking about the mods he did to his Z06 was speaking of the Rome 2Hr Endurance Race, where mods might (not sure) be allowed.

Actually, I just did this race tonight, so I decided to use the Z06. I pitted every 10 laps and didnt run too hard, in fact my best lap was only a 1:44:3XX, most of my laps were about 1:46:XXX. I even crashed 3 or 4 times because of lack of attention or distraction (I was playing at work:D ) Anyway I finished with 73 laps, second place RX-7 only had 71 laps. The gap could have been 3 or maybe even 4 laps had I pushed hard and not crashed at all, but when youre that far ahead, eh what's the difference?

Yea, on enduro races you can usually win with cars that are less powerful than what you would need to win agaist the pro league Japanese cars.

Unless your racing against cars like the castrol supra and all those other high end racers, I dont think you need to worry about anything better than a vette.

Although, I never have any problem giving a major over kill to the computer.

oh crap, thats right, its a normal car only race.

In that case your vette will be enough hands down.

I am gonna have to do the race and I think Im gonna be using my vanquish, but then again I might not since I dont wanna mess up that cars hp ratings.

Edit:

I just finished racing this race.

It was actually not as much an over kill as I thought it would be using the vette.

I used super slicks, and of course everything else was stock.

I did something like 73+ laps. I wanna say 76 but I really dont remember.

I raced the Nsx type s zero, supra rz, mitsu lancer 7, and an R32.

I took the Nsx by 1 or 2 laps and the rest of the field I didnt get to see.

That nsx could hang in there a bit and based on that Im thinking about suggesting an nsx/vette comparo like the recent skyline/vette comparo.

Let me hear what everyone else thinks.

I took the Z06 through the 2 hour trail mountain race. Its totally capable (not that you need this information anymore).

I lapped the NSX with it, but didn't try to do better. I got bored so I stayed right behind him with the bumper camera view and watched his tail lights to pass the time.

Yeah, now that the Z06 has beaten the R34 lets put the Z06 against an NSX Type-S Zero.

I am down!!!

Please somebody rally the troops and get everyone involved.

I used the Z06 at the TM Eudurance and pitted twice and won easily.

I can't remember the details as it was a while ago but I will be doing it again soon.
