Anyone got any other good pictures?

Cool pics. Takes b*lls of steel to do the TT. They showed the ultimate dedication to their sport.

Well, now that I can see them, I don't need to post anymore, but if you want to look for more. Go to www.ixquick.com in the top right there is "Pictures" Click that and type in your topic.

Thanks, Rumple. It showed after I reloaded the page in Reply mode.

I was shocked when I heard about David's death.

I met him at the 1999 TT, with some friends.

I do admit that the course isn't very well protected, I mean look at this picture, one hay bale to stop you hitting a stone wall!

Still, they died doing the thing they loved more than anything else, as I could tell when I spoke to David as he sat on his bike.

That's crazy fast. I'm sorry to see that you knew him personally. My deepest regards. Those haybails won't stop you at 123 mph, I'm afraid. You're right though, it is best that they died doing what they love.

Yeah my links with motorsport (2 and 4 wheel) are long an tedious, but a friend used to race in the TT so he knew lots of people.

He used to own a racing RC45 (or was it an NC45) Honda and has loads of racers leathers.

I wanna race the TT when I'm older:D ...

But I'll be no where near as fast...

If I have the balls to start the race, that is.

Sorry just read this bit on the TT site...

With no TT in 2001, due to the foot & mouth crisis in the United Kingdom, TT fans had an extra twelve months to wait to see ‘DJ’ achieve his third consecutive hat-trick of wins in the Formula One, Production and Senior TT’s. Once again increasing the absolute course lap record to 127. mph!

Arrrghhhh!!!
