Hi guys I was wondering if you could help me.

I have my macbook hooked up to my TV running Onlive and I want to use my PS3 dualshock 3 to play Onlive. Now, OS X supports the PS3 controller just fine BUT Onlive doesn't.

I was thinking there MUST be a way to get the input on the PS3 controller to emulate that of a 360, thus getting it to work with Onlive?!

I've seen it around for windows but i can't find the mac equivalent!

Can anyone help?! Thanks!!

Thing is people who play games and know programming use windows.

95% of gamers use windows so when a person makes software to make a PS3 controller look like an Xbox one so a few games can see and use it, it will be made for windows

Doesn't your mac have a program to run windows programs natively in OSXV

OnLive supports only supports XInput compatible (Xbox 360 compatible) controllers. I'm not aware of any software for Mac that allows a PS3 controller to masquerade as an XInput device. MotioninJoy does exactly this for Windows, but there's no Mac equivalent.

I'm guessing you'll be running Onlive in WINE, or a similar cross-platform layer? If that's the case, just run the DS3 Tool for Windows in the program. I do it with WINE on Linux, and it works fine. Can't say it'll work for OS X, but in theory it should.

If not, try posting in Aqua Soft forums, or other Mac orientated user forums as your best bet. 👍
