Small update:
After doing some careful searching I've been able to find some flight/hotel combos for $1200-1500 USD in England, so the outlook of possibly going this summer is getting bright. However the likelyhood of getting to Goodwood is shrinking, as my Aunt wants to travel later in the summer, preferably in July.
So we will see. $1500 is still a lot of money (per person), even if we do get a cheaper flight and hotel. I'll have to see what the money situation looks like, because at the moment it isn't good. And if I end up going to Florida for Spring Break, that could pretty much push the Europe-trip into 2008.
