No, you won't, because then you had to admit you were wrong.
Quit trolling and grow up already. I already said I would, and I will when I return from vacation and have access to my copy of MS2...

However, what you continue to fail or refuse to understand is that even if it is copy protected, not only would it be one of an extremely small fraction of all the games out there, but more importantly your argument that it is somehow the fault of Sony or the PS3 and that it "wasn't thought out very well" is ridiculous... because neither Sony nor the PS3 has anything to do with whether a game save is copy protected. Otherwise all game saves would be copy protected. Get it? If you are really trying to find blame or cause, then you should be contacting the developer of those games that have copy protected game saves. Get it?

As to your own argument and FALSE statement, it most certainly does say in the User Guide, under the GAME category, that Some saved data cannot be copied... other than smacking you across the face and tattooing it on your body, what more do you need for Sony to make it any more clear that they're talking about gamesaves???

BTW: The reason it says some, is that they have no control over it, as it is up to each developer. They can only decide for themselves which if any of the games they actually develop, not publish, that may or may not have copy protected game saves.

And so we are perfectly clear, I have no issue with you being upset over having a game save that can not be copied without having to backup your entire HDD, in fact I quite agree with you that it should not be that way, but your pointing your verbal gun at the wrong culprit. Blaming Sony or the PS3 because some game developer decided to copy protect their game saves is like blaming Sony or the PS3 because some game developer didn't add voice chat to their game.

Digital-Nitrate, ok I kinda agree with that, but your mixing up two different things somehow copy-protection and tying saves to an account imo should be clear that's not the same thing...
However I didn't blame Sony for that.

I've just asked if it was possible to make a complete backup without an external HDD anyhow...

peace
