I just can't get total control when I drift with an FR.

What are the "major parts" when tuning FR?

Yeah, I did do some research but I want other people's opinion on this đź’ˇ

1st i would reccomend buying a s14 stock, put on sims and turn traction control and asm off. then just do a bunch of laps on apricot hill and whatever track u like. Once you get good w/ that car just about everything else doesnt take much time to get good w/. The trick is to keep in your powerband (keep the revs up) and dont lose too much speed when sliding. Be as smooth as possible. Force yourself not to counter steer ultra hard and watch ur throttle control. THe s14 doesnt have that much power so u dont have to worry about spinning out as much even though it does have a tendancy to oversteer. Then i suggest u try the fd rx7 since its one of the easiest fr cars to drift. Just try drifting random cars stock. Then start modifying whichever car you pick to your liking once you've "mastered" drifting it stock. It takes time to get used to. I sometimes dont open the throttle all the way so i have enough juice to power over and i mash the gass right before the turn and get the rear tires to lose traction

though my main technique is feint and breaking, i tend to use power over and breaking once in a while. I dont think power over requires less skill than other thechniques... it just gives results quicker...
With feinting lol in the words of that guy from Top gear "Turn the wrong way!!..... turn the right way.Turnthe wrong way!!!" it takes a bit more work to get the oversteer w/ feint.

I've finally got it, I'm able to have control over my FR. :)

The only major parts to tune or change are: :scared:

TIRES
HORSEPOWER (ex: turbo 1,2,3... n/a 1, 2, 3...)
ASM = off
TCS = off

I bought all the parts but I didn't change the setting except for the brakes.

From what I've learned with AWD and FR, certain tires have to match up with certain horsepower or visa versa 👍 . Well that's just me... :sly:
