This annoying glitch is starting to happen 50% of the time when I try to leave a lobby . It freezes on the "leave lounge" button and I can't do anything. Is this happening to anyone else? And if I quit the game, will I lose my game data?
This has happend alot to me scince the new updates takes forever to leave a game and sometimes freezes when i leave after spending a couple of hours in a room tuning.
Gets me angry haha.
This happened to me not so long ago. Thought it was either my game or wifi. But I discovered it was my PS3. It was defective. I got it replaced and now it isn't freezing when I'm online or anything. You should check your Internet or Your PS3.
EDIT: or it can be the 1.10 Update that can also be the cause of the problem.
It might be the update but I found that uninstalling the game data and then reinstalling it worked for me when I started having that issue a few weeks back. Now gt5 seems to run faster in general and doesn't have the freezing issue anymore.
Happens to me almost all the time, usually I'm in one lobby and I can leave, then I go into another lobby and when I decide to leave that one, it just sits there and "freezes"... its annoying. If you quit the game, your save data will be fine, so don't worry about that. I found though that if I clear my cache before I go online, it doesn't freeze as much. Its been happening to a lot of people though, so I'm 99 percent sure its because of update 1.10.
Happening a lot to me. Freezes when trying to leave a lobby. Races have even started and I am still hanging around!
Not sure why but certainly more frequent since last update.
I'm freezing almost everywhere on an online lobby. Takes 2/3 minutes to load up my 700 cars then another 2/3 to get on track. Don't start me on trying to leave the lobby! I've seen myself go away, make A cup of coffee and come back to find it still hasn't left . I have A good feeling it will be 1 of the bug fixes PD are talking about though.
