TROUBLE WITH GT6 URGENT RESPONS PLEASE

Since day one of the game I've been having constant technical difficulties and I don't know what it is. More than once per day my game freezes and the PS3 is no longer responsive to input from either the steering wheel or the remote and I have to shut off the system manually and restart again. More than once it tells me the system did not shut down correctly and there may be a corrupted file. Anyone else experiencing this same problem? I've never had this problem with GT5 or any other game on my PS3 for that matter.

How old is your system? Which model is it? Let's think big picture and then narrow it down.

It's a PS3 slim that I've had since early 2010. About 6-7 months before gt5 came out. I purposely bought the system just for that game. I have never dropped it or damaged it in any way. If anything, I bought a fan to keep the system cool because it's kept in a confined space in my theater room
 
I had crashes too, but only certain race events. Its reproducible, so it must be a bug in those two specific races.
 
Wanting urgent responses in no way necessitates starting multiple threads. Start one, wait for replies. 👍
