whats your fav 4X4 truck? mines the 95+ toyota tacoma, and id wanna put in the new 4.0 liter v6 motor in it. i used to have a 99 ford ranger ext cab, 4X4, 5 spd, with the off road package. it only had the 3.0 liter v6, not the 4.0. it wasnt that fast, or powerful, but i still liked it.

check out this new truck forum.... www.truckstuff.com.

Id have to say that I still like the 96ish series truck that Dodge introduced and now everyone else is copying that. When they switched the the nose style that some people didnt like.

I don't like trucks. I'd prefer it if there were less of them on the road to be honest. Most drivers don't know how to handle them.

I like the S-Series trucks, but that a given. The ZR2 Blazers and S-10s are pretty fun to drive through the mud.

But my favorite truck has to be the Ford F-Series. I love the new look of the F-150 and its one of the nicest trucks I've been in both comfort wise and the performance wise.

I think the F-350 dually is pretty freakin sweet to! I know I don't need something that can pull 13,000 pounds, but hey it won't ever hurt to have something that can do it if the time ever comes about.

One more thing, the SRT-10 is a 2wd truck I believe.

have you guys seen the new 05 tacoma test by car and driver? they tested the double cab 4X4, 4.0 v6 model, with a 6 speed transmission. it did 60 in 7.4 sec, and the 1/4 in 16.1. pretty quick.

Easy question! The HSV Avalanche XUV. 5.7Lt V8, pumpin' out 270KW. 0-100kph in 6.5 seconds and does 400m in 14.6 seconds.

thats almost like a car. too bad it wont be as fun to off road, like say a ranger, s10, or a tacoma 4x4 with the off road package. off roading is the best part.

I've always wanted a REALLY BIG truck. Forget smal trucks, I want one of those big, white, work trucks that Chevy and GMC make, with the lockers and stuff all over them. Like construction crews and so on use. I'd keep all my tools in them, have a second alternator installed, and carry a compressor and air tools, and spart parts and tires, in the bed, and tow my race car behind it.

i like the GMC denalis. that front facia is awesome.

the new ford superduty looks tuff too.
