Are you kidding?
Ok, this is true.

I was taking my cousin to his Judo class down the road because his mum was busy. Whilst there, and older boy dislocated his leg from his hip. Luckily one of the senior members there was experienced with first aid for things liek that. He quickly knew to push the leg back into the socket, but in doing so, he caught one of the boy's testicles in the socket. The boy was screaming in pain. From what gossip my cousin picks up, he wanted to have the testicle chopped off, but the Doctors said it was too risky. The only way out would be to re-dislocate the leg.

Je&*(s H C&^*t! What a nightmare! I did judo from age 3 to 10 but never anything like that, pfew. Thankfully the brain makes up its own anaesthetic after a while, but still ...

I know something about pain - an old dentist of mine got overworked. I had an accident just before it happend that killed my four front teeth, but without me knowing it he forgot to fix up the fourth root-canal. Later another dentist discovered this and had to find the shrivelled canal to hopefully still be able to fill it up and connect, thus keeping the tooth. Unfortunately, the only way he could tell is by what I felt, which meant no anaesthetic while he poked around trying to find the entrance. Afterwards when I went back to university I was totally high off my own endorphines.

This story easily beats that though ... jeez!

Didn't someone post a story like this before, but people douted that it could ever happen?

I don't doubt you dan. Shouldn't it now be normal practice to tell someone to cup their balls when popping a leg back in?

That's even worse. Bleh.

This happens quite alot with dislocated legs if you aren't careful.

I'd hope so. Or you could wait and get a professional to do it. But I doubt you'd be happy to wait that long.

Shouldn't be too much of a problem for me :D. I'm wearing my 'box at my next karate tournament.
It would be hard to wait for a professional to come. It would be complete agony.

P.S. How is having a testicle chopped off so risky. I would prefer to have it re-discolated if I have to...As long as I was pumped with general anaesthetic.

That is horrible.
Don't let it bother you, because it's totally untrue.

First off, it's extremely difficult to dislocate your leg at the hip joint. It's a sturdy joint with a fairly simple range of motion (for a joint) surrounded by a ton of connective tissue. You're much more likely to break your pelvis or snap the knob off the top of your femur than you are to dislocate your hip joint.

In addition, I'm sure you've all felt around down there on some pretext or another. There's about 4 inches of solid muscle and tendon in your perineal area and the top of your thigh that the testicle would have to magically slip through to get anywhere near the hip joint, not to mention the blade of your pelvic bone, through which your testicles descend as your grow up. The magic ball would have to re-ascend through the hole in the middle of your pelvis, and then work its way through a mass of tendons that were strained taut as steel wire by the dislocation, and it would still be on the wrong side of the hip bone socket to get crushed by the femur snapping back into place.

End. Of. Story.
