Oh so it's not completely authentic in every way, therefore it shouldn't try to be authentic in ANY way! Make no attempt for any kind of authenticity, PD! All or nothing!

I'm sorry, you'll have to read the rest of the thread since that post. I think the lack of a paint store in GT destroys the authentic argument. There was no attempt by PD to be authentic. They just created a little trinket for the console gamers to trade and drool over. There was never any intention for it to be in any way related to anything in the real world.

All of that is beside the point. This is a software application with a poor user interface.

Don't read my posts if it doesn't suit your pro-PD never say anything bad against them blinkered viewpoint. Simple.

I'm not asking for everyone to be positive... hell I know this painting lark on GT5 is stupid and needs sorting out.

Yeah.... I'm a "pro-PD never say anything bad against them blinkered viewpoint" kinda person, aren't I?

There's plenty of things PD have got very wrong with GT5, but there's just as many things they've got very right, and are actually rectifying. You don't seem to acknowledge this, ever. :yuck:

You certainly come across that way. If you don't like hearing complaints then I'm afraid you're looking on the wrong kind of websites. See, open forums are all about people discussing games and people giving their view whether it's good or bad and whether you agree with it or not, they're not about constant pat on the back posts and general arse kissing of the developer and/or publisher. That's the way forums work, get used to it.

They're supposed to get things right, that's their job for **** sake! Oh let's all give PD credit for doing something they're paid a lot of money to do i.e their job. If a game surpasses all expectations then I'll give it a lot of credit, if it's riddled with faults then guess what people pick up on? That's right, the faults.
