trying to finish GT3, just a few questions...

I currently have ending moving A & B unlocked... just curious what happens when:

- you finish unlocking all arcade races

- you have gold in all simulation races

- you have gold in all license tests

- you have 100% completion

is it worth it? thanks.

1: Then you have to race them.

2: You get an F688/S F1 car. If I remember right, it has around 900 HP, and is my 2nd fastest car around Mid-Field.

3: You win a MX-5 Miata, an RX8, a Nissan Z Concept, An AM Vanquish, a Viper Race car, and a Impreza Rally Car Prototype.

4: You get the F094/S, which is my favorite F1, and is Senna's last F1 car. It also happens to be my fastest car around Mid-Field

All of this can be found in the LOOK HERE BEFORE YOU ASK sticky, which is clearly visible upon entering the GT3 forums.

Is it worth it? I wouldnt know, the farthest I have gotten is 94%. What I can tell you is that some of the last races in the game (the F1 races in particular, and some of the Enduros) are very exciting, and are worth a try.

@ Greyout : many of us reached 100% and are still playing the game (I finished it 5 months ago and still play 1 or 2 hours a day). Browse the forum, you'll realize that this game is addictive for most of us. It's not considered a game that you finish 100% and been done with it. Improvements are always possible, there are tenths or hundredths of a second to save on every track.
I would reverse the question and ask 'Do you expect it to be worth it ?'. What I mean is : do you play GT3 by curiosity, or because your friends play, or because you thought the graphics were great... Or do you play GT3 because you like car racing, setting and tuning, because it makes you feel the race excitement, because that's the cheapest (and safest) way to be as close as possible to a race driver.
Both options are respectable, I'm not saying that GT3 freaks rule and other people suck. I just want to say that when you know the reasons why you play GT3, you'll know if reaching 100% will be worth it.

It happened to me with Final Fantasy X. I bought the game, played for a while and finally discovered that my initial motivation was mainly curiosity and that the game wasn't worth it for me.

That's exactly what phattboy meant with "it all depends on you". I guess I was more in a "philosophical mood" than him because my post is much longer

...and you're probably far from it. The whole Arcade Mode represents about 25% of the game.

Do I have to do EVERYTHING in the game so that I get the 100%? All golds, single races, time trials etc. etc.?

I wouldn't be considered as Famine's twin brother, but I must ask :
Do you really see a difference between 'everything' and '100%' ? Do you expect the counter to reach 100% before you have done everything and then counting up 101%, 102%...

Seriously, to reach the 100% you need the following :
- Arcade mode : all tracks and cars unlocked
- Arcade mode : all time-trials gold
- Gran Turismo mode : all licenses (gold not required)
- Gran Turismo mode : all events gold.

Which means that when you reach 100%, the only thing that remain is to gold all licenses.
