I'm not sure, I haven't raced it yet. Good idea though. I would start the race and ride the first lap with them and see how fast their lap times are, then find out how many laps they can do in 9 hours.

Well I'm doing that race in b-spec right now. my bob is doing 34-37 second laps, while the competition is running laps at 57 to 1:03 seconds.
After 7 1/2 hours my bob is 250 laps ahead of 2nd place.
I'll leave the math to you.

Confirmed. 550 will do it. X1 might not be too fun on that short track.

I was thinkin' the same thing lol. Either zip through it and park, or ride out 9 hours... I can't run a few hours and pause and leave and come back due to the power going out where I live (India.) It goes out at least once a day.

About to start this race, fingers crossed the power stays on!

Why not race the endurance with more competetive cars? ;)

Im using a 500 BHP Subaru now, while the others has roughly 600ish BHP.
Im currently 12 laps ahead after 318 laps... I find it more fun driving competetive.

But with the X1:
Roughly 550. When I did it I ran 545 laps and the second place car did 542.

Im sorry to hear that man. But you dont have to pause and leave it, you just have to leave it. If you have a big enough lead you can park and still win because its timed. Theres no set number of laps to complete.

but if i just park the race never ends, right? i still need to just cross the line?

started 20 min ago.... 31 laps done, best on 0:29. something

i've pitted like 4 times without intending to do... i made some mistakes and some cars rammed me over the pit lane to lol!

If anyone still has to do this event here is a progress report:

Half way to lap 550, (275) took 2hrs. 54 minutes.

The most difficult part is staying out of the pits. lol i'm accidentally pitting like every 20 laps! Coming around the last corner at 200mph is throwing me in the pits haha

food break, and back at it!

Tell me about it! haha

535 lapyd was enough for me. It was possibly the happiest I've been when I finished that race, knowing I'd not have to do it again, and the pitting against my will was a total pain also.

most people don't actually want to have to drive for nine hours straight. and since there is no way to save mid race there is no good way to come back and do it later.

and, to be really honest, i will not risk loosing the race after nine gruesome hours just to be competitive...

They should just allow Player and computer AI to partner up for the Enduro's but maybe have like a set limit on how many laps/time that the computer AI HAS to do before he is disable and you WILL have to do the rest.

I'm running it right now as well. I'm about to park up in two hours. It's extremely frustrating to just sit in my chair for this long. I'd love to be a couch potato in this chair, but it's just unbearably uncomfortable. In addition to that, going around Tsukuba for 500-something laps is just boring, no matter what car you do it in.

My best lap at the moment is 28.345. Nothing too special, I keep getting knocked into the pits as well. I'm taking a little break because, as I was taking a turn, I accidentally bumped into a car and I skidded off the course again. I was so tempted to turn it off [I get tired of having to drive back onto the track just to accidentally mess up somewhere down the road again], but, instead, I had to tell myself, "You're three hours in. Not now."

@Jorsne: Thanks for posting that. So now I can actually bear doing the Tsukuba challenge without much of a risk of my PS3 frying.

your looking at about 5 1/2 to 6 hours of racing if your using the x1. it gets very boring after about an hour
