I know that overall the ring 4 hours is a more popular choice...but why?
Tsukuba has more exp per minute but obviously less cash, If I am looking for exp should I continue to do Tsukuba, or is there something I'm missing?
The 4hr 'Ring doesn't tie up the console for as long..?
9hr Tsukuba is ideal for overnight or "work" breaks... A 4 hour race is better for balancing attention to The Game, with attention to the partner/kids/dog* (*-delete as applicable).

The XP rate btw the two & the Indy 500 with the X1 are all very similar. Tsukuba has become the overnighter/day shift choice. Otherwise the Suzuka 1000km is an even faster XP earner. Of course Le Mans takes the prize but it ties up your PS3 even longer. I have never read on GTP that the 'ring 4hr is 'the more popular choice', though I can understand why some may prefer it in Aspec.
The 9 hour race is nice for leaving your PS3 turned on over night. You obviously earn a lot more exp with a race that's over twice as long, and since it's b-spec, who cares if spending 9 hours on that track would end up with the driver in a padded cell?
