Maybe alot of people like the Tsukuba track, but personally, i think it is one of the most boring tracks in the game.

And looking at the a-spec endurance races, there is a Tsukuba 4 hour AND a Tsukuba 9 hour...

Seriously???

Rather than use one of the other numerous tracks, ALL of which are a 🤬 of a lot more interesting and fun... they chose to use the same damn track for 2 endurance races. I have to sit on my couch and spend 13 god forsaken hours driving around that flat, small, boring stretch of tarmac. I would rather be forced to do the Nurburgring 24 Hour TWICE. At least in that one Im learning a fun and challenging track.

Sure, Tsukuba is famous, but my god... Its going to make my damn eyes bleed, and invoke thoughts of suicide after 13 hours...

Terrible decision.

Yeah I have to agree, one 4hr Enduro there is more than enough.

Just another WT* this game is littered with.

The 9H one isnt as much as a drag as you'd think. Just do 5-6 hrs, and go do something else til the end. Easy 1mil exp.

I'm done with both now (in A and B spec), but I thought that was crappy and Tsukuba is a really lame track. It's short, it's low speed, little elevation change, plain scenery, just an all around boring track. However, not as crappy as having two 24h races in A-spec with no saves and no switching off to B-spec drivers.

Holy crap! I had not noticed there was another one and was 9 hours long! I just did the 4 hour yesterday and did about 30 minutes at a time with about an hour break in between because it's so bleeding boring.

That 9 hour race is gonna have to wait a while.

I like the track as of today, I actually need to do the 4hr race next......I hope I dont develop dislike for it after that race.

Just spend some time getting a massive lead and then just rest for a while with the timer still counting it helps pass the time

On the topic of Tsukuba and the 4 Hour MX5/Miata Race ; I hate racing around the boring and slow Tsukuba in the equally slow and boring MX5's/Miatas.

Yes I know I can tune the hell out of the car. However I actually prefer a challenge, and anything to make this slow and time-wasting race is welcomed by me

I agree. Its a fun track for short races, but its painfully small for an endurance race. Monaco would have been nice, I liked that race in gt3. Hell, id even take cape ring jsut because its long and different.

B spec for the win, the race is almost as exciting as watching paint dry.

Ye not looking forward to this one :(

I tuned the Mazda to the extreme so it was really fun to drive the car.
Still after 2 hour I was already done with it and still had to do 2 more hours before I could go in parking mode :(

And now 9 hours :/ so 5 hours with the X1 and parking mode but 5 !!!!!!! hours with the X1 doing roundabouts wtf ! ugh

i am almost to level 33. will probably get to level 33 tonight but i am not really looking forward to 9 hours of tsukuba. most likely just use the x1 and just get a huge lead and park it for the last 3-4 hours

Just out of curiosity, of the folks that have completed the 4 hour, or even the 9 hour, any of you remember how many laps you ran? I would imagine the 4 hours is gonna get you close to 200 laps, whew! That track is really fun I think in small doses, I'm not sure how I'm gonna feel after the enduros though, but would agree with the sentiment that once is enough.

Someone in another thread said they did 600+ laps in the 9 hour race. :yuck:

can't remember exactly how many i did in the 4 hour but it was near 200 however i parked my car for the last 25 minutes

203 laps for the 4 hour. after 170 laps, I was 20 laps ahead so I took a 20 minute rest while the time kept running. If I hadn't taken the 20 minutes, it would have been about 225 laps. Best lap time was 1:00.440 and average was around 1:01.500.

What's the best way to figure out when you can safely park up and wait for the time to tick away? There are a few factors, not least it would depend on how fast you are. I guess you see how many laps behind the next car is, and take a guess at how quickly he is lapping.

Tsukuba is famous because of best motoring videos.
and because the track is small, they race all the underpowered JDM cars against Lambo, Ferrari etc, and because JDM cars handle, and have tuned gearboxes etc for that car, they always beat the big super cars on that track. go to Fuji and its a different story.

I would of loved the touge track they use in the Best Motoring / Hot version videos. That is an amazing little track.
Its called gunma cycle sports center or gunsai touge.
Its basically a closed road, just for rally stages or for push bike riders to ride in mountainous regions etc. But it provides some amazing driving observe

Not my favourite track. Not looking forward to spending an longer than 10 minutes there.
Maybe I'll train my wife to drive and we can do 30 minute stints each.
Bad idea on the part of PD. They should have another track for the 9 hour.
