This Time Trial event takes place on the Nürburgring GP/D using 4WD non-racecars with 600PP or less. Tires are limited to Sports/Hard or less.

400PP Eiger Nordwand G Trail/Reverse Time Trial

This Time Trial event takes place on the Eiger Nordwand G Trail/Reverse, using cars with 400PP or less. Dirt tires are required.

I had the lead on Eiger with an Elise 111R by about 10 seconds, but 30 seconds later, PRIVATEJ0KER takes over by 2 tenths :scared:

Woo got 89 position in my GT-R on the burg. We will see how long that last lol

Edit: probably long than first expected. Now 41!

Wow looks like the R8 might be the car of choice at the burg my 1:33.4 is already 10th position off by like 2 seconds.

I just will not use the Elise on dirt. I normally don't like time trials, but I like this dirt track. I am going to stick with cars that have some rally heritage and 4WD. Currently 2nd, but I don't expect that to last. I will surely lose interst in about another 20 minutes.

GT-R's are thining out at the top but i cant improve my R35's time with the R8

I saw 400PP Eiger and I said "Cool!" Then I saw G Trail and I said, "Crap..."

:) that was fun, bit of a battle then after.
Its great starting with no ghosts to confuse you & influence your own line/rythm

Hope the Elise is the best car, the last lap I did felt pretty good.

Did one lap in my R8 tronic for 1:33.xxx

Currently a shocking 15th at Eager in my Daihatsu Storia X4 '00!:gtpflag:
Highest I've ever been in any TT. Still have plenty of room for improvement with the cars tune but doubt my hand will hold up long enough to really get the car tuned properly today.
If anyone's interested though I can post the tune for what I'm currently using.:D

111R got a 2:22 feels like i can find another second surprisingly fun to drive too.
Great work Joker 👍

1.31.0 at the Nurburgring, my cat decided to jump in front of the tv at the last corner, clipped a bit of gravel there lol . Still P1 though, nice job at Eiger PJ!

I used Daihatsu Move Custom RS (it's 4WD) for Eiger; full tune and a bit of ballast to bring it down to 400pp from 409. I raised up the suspension a bit from my road setup and added custom diffs. It worked really well, plenty of traction especially keeping revs in 6-8000 range (it red lines around 10k).

2:20.911 gave a 70th place at the time (no driving aids).

At least 2 seconds left if I could keep clean lines and avoid too much drifting and lockups.:dopey:

Great time Privatejoker;) -still number 1 when I looked at around 9ish this morning.

I'm gonna have a go at these later-see if I can sneak a time in before the planned PSN maintenance at 1600hrs BST.

@PR1VATEJ0KER
hallo mate! Congratulation for your performance with 205 on eiger :dopey:. I've seen your best fantastic lap. I suppose that 205 is better then elise, but it's too much hard to drive

The best I have ever gotten is like 5000th(Last TT gonna do this one later) how are you guys so good?

does a wheel make that big of a difference?

practice, anyone can be in top 250/100... just practice. it doesn't matter if use pad or wheel: you have to run, run, run...

Thanks guys, still quite early. Though I think this is the longest Ive managed to hold P1 :)

You must be the only person to top the TTs in 2 different cars on the same day :)

Please tell me you've got some whacked out, extreme set-up on your 205 because I just see your ghost as a speck in the distance

Mind you,thats not unusual :D

I've managed to get into the top 10 which is a good sign but I'm still way off your time, From what I've seen people get bored of rally TTs very quickly and some of the fastest times are often set way before the end. I don't know how long that will stay P1 but you have a very good chance of a high finish in this TT if you want it, good luck. :)

I didnt do much to it. 8kg of ballast. Springs super soft. Turbo 3
The car is on share if you like.

Nice job.

I tried my first ever rally tune for the 95 Evo. Thought I'd try something that other weren't using. Stayed in 25th over night. 5th for a while. (not like that was going to stay.) I can still drop maybe a half sec or more with it.

Not sure I have the top car running. Joker mind if I send a FR later and use the ride?

When I do rally events I unplug the power from my dfgt.

I already tried it but it feels very strange with no force feedback... what GT5 needs is a steering options for road sensation ( like the vibration option for DS3)... so we could keep the force feedback and reduce bumps/tracks effects in the steering... must part of other games have theses options... we are very missing a lot of steering options with gt5... pedal saturation... put it 180 degre option for redbull and F1..

After a host of red runs, managed sub 300/2:21 with a 205 T16.
Gear ratios seem to be a key deciding point; getting the most out of 2nd and 3rd on the long hill climb.
Has anyone else experienced a misplaced cone in the middle of the road at the last corner of Nur GP/D?

You want to make sure that you are almost hitting the redline as you are climbing.
