Link to my tune for this seasonal. Tuned with DS3 controller and ABS1. I have been able to bounce within the top ten all night, but will bet that I will fall to 1,000 by the time I wake up tomorrow. There are better drivers out there who may be able to be fast with this tune. I just don't enjoy chasing my ghost around - I would rather race, but my tunes are getting faster. If you use this tune with a wheel, it may be a bit aggressive. PM me and I can talk you through how to tone it down.

Used my same Elise 111R from the GB races with little less power and was at #47 after a few runs @ 1.25.522 after lunch.

I see I am now #158, expect that number will continue to rise for some time to come.

Wasn't able to get my Corvette yet for some reason. Hopefully later.

That would have been great.
And stock please,tuning prohibited.
No dirty oil tricks and all that stuff...

Hey Dude

How you doing , been a long time :)

I'm with you there , Stock please ...Bring back our stock time trial sessions :) .
I will still give it a go though ....

I'm so confused with the way the tuning works on GT5 , I don't bother tuning any more and just use what I can find ....

Take Care Bud :)

Cheers bud,that's been a while indeed 👍
But I'm with you, please give back our good old TT's, (only premium cars is good enough for me :) ).I'm sure the results will be a little different compared to the ones nowadays.

On-topic,the Lotus Carlton is a nice challenge to catch the gold

I golded it with Lotus Elise '96 premium with only 470pp 1:27.xxx then used Elise 190 standard, the 96 elise is so much fun, often ignored as most people used the faster big brother 111R ...

Detuned 111r it will be. Much like the British lightweight seasonals. Well the OCD is packed with them...

Hey
Looks like a great event, unfortunately I have no network, and I'm only able to compete offline.. I am trying to make a setup for the elise, but it is an offline tune.
Is there any difference between seasonal physics and offline physics?
Cbastjan

Dusted off my 111R, upped the power a bit so it has 470PP and set a 1:26.435
after 3 laps. I'm sure if I build it to the 480PP limit and play around with the suspension I can drop that time but for now I'm happy. Forgot how much fun that little car is to drive.

Well according to PD this has been fixed , not sure as I don't race offline ....

Quoted by PD : Fixed an issue where the on-line control characteristics differed from the offline characteristics . This is after update 2.09.... If so Thank - you PD.

Cheers

Nice time trial on autumn ring.
A good 1:25 for my first lap and a 1:23:919 a few lap later with some modifications on the car.
But it's possible to go a lot faster, I just don't know enough the track.

edit : just got a 1:23:651

I can not believe that I thought that the tires were limited to comfort softs I was going mad trying to win on those tyres when I could have just gone on the sport hards!

How am I still in the top 10 at Suzuka? I thought I would be at least 1 second behind now

The corvette is not tunable except for BB and engine limiter. It is a true spec machine. A Vette TT with just this car before Christmas would be pretty cool. An ABS/NoABS separation would also be a nice Christmas present:idea:

Both TT's sound like fun to me, think I'll give them a spin.

Good job 👍

Are you using a wing?
What hp is your car making and what final ratio gearing are you using.

P.S. apologies for the interrogation :)

I've been using the tune Praiano posted in his thread here. There is no wing on the car.

WOW! top 10 great job what car did you use.

Suzuki GSX-R/4 Concept '01 :)

Yes, I had suggested it in the Vette thread. Stop stealing my idea, lol.

Your idea?

Well, anyone wanna take bets on what the new Seasonal TT's will be? Here's hoping it includes the Vette.

They might release a fixed setup time trial with this car... Just a wild guess, it'd be great if that happens.
Note the dates.

I'm hoping that happens, been waiting for a fixed setup TT for a long time now...
Last fixed set time trial was GT5 Time Trial Challenge with Nissan GT-R SpecV @ Eifel 105A but that had SRF enabled for reasons beyond me. Was still getting used to the wheel back then though, wasn't competetive enough since I had less than a month of wheel use behind me then (and that was Nov-Dec 2011).
Now I've improved loads so I wish to see where would I stack up.

David Coulthard Challenge was the last fixed set time trial which was actually a good and I didn't have a wheel back then.

I hope that with the introduction of C7 they'll give us a time trial to go with it. I'll be hoping... that would give me a reason to start this game up (something I haven't done in weeks).

Bass', try some of the tunes in the Seasonal before this one, the "British Lightweight" cars to 500PP.

There are some very good tunes for the Elise 111R 04.

Started earlier on 1:25.5 and am now at 1:25.099.
