Couple of things, I test drove the 97 Civic last night, and as much as I love the Volvo, it is just going to be un competitive on the bigger tracks (Monza/Spa/Rome??) so it looks like I will be switching... Also, chances of me making the first race is 50/50. Slipped my mind that this started on the last day of the month, and in my business, the chances of me getting a night off on the last day is very unlikely. I will keep everyone up to date, otherwise, will see you all in Italy next week:tup:.

So official equipment change, 97 Honda Civic Type R/ Championship White Paint/Black Wheels
 
Aww, hope you can make it for the first race! Interesting that you are going for the Civic instead of the Volvo. I will make the room 15 before qualify, see you all there!

I'm sorry that I was unable to make it tonight. I had an unexpected long day after school today, mostly shopping in various places for everything imaginable.

No problem! Hope to see you for Monza though! We had a good race, seems that racing with a low PP and SH makes the field very even...

First let me introduce my self, I'm Gt-Nur... I think you may have seen me before
Now I'm very interested on joining this group even when its about ff cars and worst even premiums cars but its still pretty fun, and best of all good clean and fun drivers

so is there a possibility to join now?? I don't pretend to win but have a fun races so I wont be driving the Integra or the civic 08
 
My car will be the Citroen C4, not that quick but its doing 2.12.850 on monza
 
Welcome Nur, good to see you finally showed up 👍. That C4 was surprisingly quick tonight when we ran a few laps, should be fun to see how this pans out.

Welcome and of course you can join! I'm starting this league nice and slow and then move to FR, MR,4WD and those cars as we move move to faster cars. I also intend to give away a nice surprise/gift but that will be for next league. I'll you to the roster of racers and hope to see you tonight.

By the way, tonight I will be opening the lobby around 6:45PM EST and start qual at around 7:00PM for 15 and then about 15 laps for the race (30+ min).
 
my dream is having a league of hachirokus in 450pp with comfort tires and o ABS, that would be :drool::drool::drool::drool:

Race started a complete disaster for me, was on pole and lost it at the first turn. I didn't lose much time but a racing incident cost me more time and I thought I was done. I continued and by lap 8 I caught up with top group. It was a good race for me and I think luck was on my side.

Couple things that I would to point out: if you bump someone and make him lose speed, please wait 2 turns before attempting another overtaking maneuver, it's not fair to push someone before a chicane for example, make him lose speed (while staying behind) and using the next corner to overtake him. Please allow 2 corners before making a pass if you happen to bump someone out of shape on a corner.

Penalties won't be given for this race, but now that the point has been cleared, things should go smoother for the next race! I'll update standings shortly.
 
after I watched the hole replay there is a few things I want to say:

1./ 100% owner an winner of this circuit is Ketiux, amazing race dude, overtook so many cars, did the best lap time, really fair and clean driving, and enough with saying that right after you took the lead all the lap times of the group went 1 second down only because of the draft.

2./ Guys specially two (both did it more than 3 times with at least 1 bad ending) pleeeaasse don't brake late on a chicane taking the inside line after used his draft, its just so unfair when you hit a car from the
inside to the outside of the corners and always the only one disadvantaged is the guy that was in front of you. Just wait patiently for your opportunity, no one is perfect and your car is different so there will always be an opening that you can use.

3./ It was so fun an exciting ! see you guys next Tuesday

4./ So proud of my C4

I was quite frusterated with the amount of blocking going on early in the race, it happened numerous times early on. It is a 15t lap race, there is no need to battle for postition at every corner. I really think the top 4 should have broken away, but unfortunately we were more interested in staying in front than running fast times.

Other than that, great race by ketiux, that EK was going to be hard to beat at this track, that thing is a rocket ship compared to some of the other cars on the big long straights of Monza.

Well, that same rocket now feels and looks like a tow truck at Laguna, it's not even close to the times you guys are doing during practice.:indiff:

What is your time lap?
 
For Laguna Seca we will do 25 laps and start at 8:00 EST to allow a couple players to make it in time. See ya there!
 
I'm all gear up for tonight. I didn't make it last week because I simply forgot and slept through the race. But I haven't forgotten this week. Good luck to everyone.
 
We should let boxxter change his car, that Peugeot is the slowest car on the league.
its .700 seconds slower tan my Citroën in grand valley east and 1.500 slower than the DC5.
 
I will talk to Boxx and see what he decides about his car. About the race, congrats to bdub for the win as well as GT-NUR for a close second place! The EK completed the podium. I watched the replay and some penalties must be given. I won't give names and penalties won't be severe, but I'll let know the players affected.
 
How about we let Boxx put a few extra pp into that Peugoeot?? Say for the next race he can try 233 or so??

We could do that for next league, not a bad idea. Spa will have 13 laps, be prepared!

Sorry I missed yesterday. Something came up and to be honest, deciding on a car is difficult. I am 2 seconds off the average qualifying times at laguna in testing. I've tried 3 cars so far and my laguna lap times are 1:43.8-1:44.5. I'll keep testing to find a competitive ride. I am also trying to use something that hasn't yet been taken. I've tried the focus, countryman and golf V. Any tuning advice?

I only have driven the focus*(of the three above ), it isnt an easy car because it has too much understeer but is something that can be fixed with a special tuning, weight balance, right height adjustment, camber and toe angles, etc... the other one that drives very good is the golf, but it doesn't have that top end speed that you need for long straights. It can be fixed too but it takes time, settings and mileage.

Remember that theses time laps are the fastest and most of them with draft ;)

I will send you my old Citroen C4 with a lot of secrets, there you can take some ideas for your car. It isn't my actual setup but is close to it and its easier to drive. Just don't tell anyone :yuck: what you will see (every little thing has its meaning)
I like the Idea of having a new car in the group.
