In truth, the SS is probably closer to a cop car than the orange one I got home from the airport yesterday, but nonetheless.......

Well, I'm not quite done, but my tune is tune B, I'll have it on share soon. I have to say though, it is a pig, quite how anyone was caught when the police was driving this, I have no clue.
 
Probably because most of the time the coppers are chasing some hoon driving a slightly older model commode. :yuck:

Well…the Holden's on share, though I'm still not too smitten with it, so I've made my own one! It's the white one next to the big scary Black mustang which I wouldn't mind you testing. ;)
 
Alright, so the purple one is 3.5 seconds faster at 1:31.7xx around Trial Mountain than the white one, but it's a bit of a scary ride. Sort of what I'd expect from the extra 250 horses. I like the suspension and the gear spacing in the white one much better. Much easier to handle and be consistent with. No over or understeer, no bouncing, brakes stop it in time. Just goes.

This was my first drive with the 2.02 tyre changes, and I'm not sure what you could do about the life of the rubber on these things, other than changing to a harder set. I got 4 laps pushing out of the purple one, and 6 out of the white one before I started losing a couple of seconds a lap to loss of grip at the front. If frosty's series is longer than 5 laps a race, he's in trouble. They're both running a pretty high camber at the front though, would it be possible to trim a degree or more off that and maybe soften the rear springs or something else to compensate?

Well, the white one is my personal one, so of course it was going to be better. :D And to be honest, the purple one was easier to drive online, my biggest gripe about the car was that it refused to rotate, krenkme gave it an unbelievably stable setting, I'm guessing it's owing from a trip to Deep Forest, but it paid on Trial Mountain as it refused point blank to turn unless I hooned it.

Oh, and you don't know what scary really is until you've had a drive in the Mustang. 700hp in a crap chassis is always going to help brown your pants.

difficult to control , senced there was something wrong with the lsd , to much power on wrong moments , didn't feel as stable as the white one , also cornering didn't go as smooth as the white one . might be the same tune i didn't check but didn't feel the same at all .

:lol:I spent a night working on it, one night trying to turn it into a M5 rival. And I think, from the responses I'm getting…I've actually succeeded. :dopey:

We will run R2 tires. 10 laps @trial mt.. 10 laps @deep forest. 10 laps @autumn ring. 10 laps @high-speed ring. And 20I laps @London. All with one mandatory pit stop. Sorry I forgot to tell ypu

thats intresting i ran my tests on S3 tires , i think onboy will need to install R2 tires then
 
I made some progress with the Mach 1 Mustang from an earlier batlle between myself, Harvey and Krenkme's Dodge Challenger. 600pp and SS tires on share now for testers to try when Dee and Krenkme are ready. I tried both Challengers and couldn't get the tranny ratios to lineup if you two don't mind double checking them for me to see if I made a mistake. The Mach 1 is a natural contender for the Mopar and my main focus has been to get it competitive with the excellent Challengers for online battles between our two garages. :sly:

Its the same car. I broke it in and tried to tame it some with nearly 800 ft/lbs of torque it still chews through tires like a teething junkyard pitbull. :lol: A little difficult to drive fast but I have fun trying. I think by adding different parts to Harveys Challenger it changed the gear ratios. I hope he is resting and returns soon also.

No, the one I made my own is my own car, not the one I'm building for frosty, it doesn't have enough power to keep up. Though my car is infinitely easier and easily the better to drive. :p

Nope, not with 744+hp killing the handling you won't. :D

Hmm…I wonder if my '05 Mustang can keep pace with your two Mopars and that old school Mach 1…might be worth a shot, though it does mean giving it a supercharger it wasn't tuned to handle…:scared:

Yeah, did that after running it around Deep Forest Raceway. I also ran both Cubes there but I won't comment on that yet as I haven't given them a full tune yet. :)

Today brought some new fun. Beetle 360 (360p.p.) at the 400p.p. High Speed Ring Seasonal.
I could not catch the Prelude without the added cornering grip of RH tires as I was still just over a second behind on SS tires. :grumpy:

Actually, for the testing, it was tuned on S3 because what works on S3s is almost always going to work on R2s, so if the car is just mildly tamer on S3, then it'll be (hopefully) brilliant to drive on the much grippier R2s.

In my quest to get my Ford Mach 1 competitive with Harvey and Krenks Dodge Challenger "str8 08" I thought it was the 1970 Challenger R/T I was up against. :dunce: at least when I tried the settings on the mopars I picked the correct new one, just didn't register it is the retro remake and not the classic one. :lol: This made me laugh and hopefully others can relate to my idiocracy. :cheers: need more beer now :dopey:

I tried my Crossfire on sports hard tires but I was in 1st before lap 3 :crazy: at 450p.p.

That SLS AMG '10 you got on share , can you make a 550-575 tune ( if possible with the race exhaust ) for it on R3 tires , pretty please .
I know S3 and R3 tires are close setup wise but i am sure you can tweak them some more .

I took it to deep forest and damn i never even drove this car before but it is fun , very good fun and it looks good to , i need it for online racing :D

Its ok , i decided to give it a try myself and see if i can make a tune for this car . :nervous::nervous::nervous:

Step one was easy , get a good paintjob ;p

:lol: Don't worry, the SLS is a good car. And for 550PP, you want it stock, bar the suspension and crap, but power and weight wise, stock. For 575PP, you can have the racing exhaust and something else, but no supercharger.
 
this time i'll need a testdriver lol , its all done online so i have no idea how it will handle offline yet :p

also i prolly did the mistake of going on R3 tires from the start but atm i am liking what i see .
