I installed a carbon propeller shaft and a triple-plate clutch kit on my Corvette Z06.
Now the engine has a high pitched whine when accellerating.

Doesn't sound Vette-like at all and i wanted to get rid of it. I tried switching back to normal, but the sound is still there. Must be a bug in GT6.

So be careful tuning these things.

I was wrong. It's the engine tuning stage 3 that gives the whine, and it can't be reverted by going back or installing another kit.

Guess i'm done with engine tuning on any car. Selling the Vette and getting a new one.

You can take all tuning parts off and revert back to stock, just go back to the NA tune part of the tune sheet and select the top option which is stock. There's no need to sell it.

Fitting a fully customisable transmission produces a high pitched whining sound, maybe that's what you're looking for?

Spot on. Thanks, thats exactly what i've done.
So everybody can forget what i've written in here. FastTech has the answer.
