Any exist yet online? I remember there was a few for forza and they were at least good enough to get your cars in pretty good shape, probably not perfect, but it was certainly good enough.

Havent found any yet for this game. It makes me wonder if I can just use one of those forza tuning calcs? Should work right?

Maniacs even built an iphone app!

I built one but it's for the iPhone... link below.

I'm actually working on a comprehensive calculator (springs, lsd, brakes, transmission, etc.) ...coming soon

I dont even have an iphone, want one though. Looking forward to see what you build though.

It should be available for the iPod Touch, though I'm not positive as it uses iOS 4.

The Android version is in the works!

If it works, I'll buy it for sure. You could make a nice chunk of change with this. I had the Forza tuning calc when I was playing that game and back then I had an iPhone.

Can't wait for the release of your calc!

Dont think it will work on the ipod touch, it uses a different OS I think, the latest is 1.1.5. Totally different than what he's talking about.

I was gonna buy it but not at $3 bucks $0.99 hell yes but sorry it's a little much at $2.99. Once your done with the new one tell me I might be willing to pay $2.99 for that one...

Understood guys. Yeah, the existing app has a ton of content and a few cool features, but the new one is far more comprehensive towards actual tuning assistance and will surely be worth the buy. I plan to release it in January, but if you buy it now those January updates will be free anyway so... its up to you.

Also if anyone has any ideas they'd like to share for adding to the next revision I am all ears!

Cheers

Hi Dave,

Just bought your app last night. A suggestion for future revision is text box input for the values in the spring rate calculator instead of the sliders. It's a pain in the ass for me to slide those values in to the correct number. Maybe I have fine motor skills of a stooge but text box will make it heaps better for me.

I'll buy the Android version as soon as you release it.

Thanks man. Yeah, those sliders will be replaced with text boxes in the next version, that is assured.

Well hopefully some calculators pops up on the web after a bit too, as they did with Forza.

I'm also working on this... but as you can tell I've got a bit on my plate already! Gotta take care of things one at a time.

Cheers

i got your app but you realy should try find an easier way to get the weight thing.. i spend more time looking for that then anything else....

Cheers deadmeat.

Re-developing the iPhone version should take me into the middle of Jan, so I'd say late Feb/early March (sorry android users but the web must come first). Lots of work to be done!

I'm still working out a cost structure for the web version, do you guys have any recommendations? I'm considering monthly/yearly subscriptions, maybe $0.99/month? Those with iPhones who have already bought the app will have an unique cost structure and they too will be able to transfer... certain things to the web version.

I'd love to share with you all the new features and details and why this app is worth your while but... can't give away my secrets just yet! Just be ready to have an app that comprehensively covers every aspect of tuning in the Gran Turismo series.

OK I just gotta say, I'll pay for a phone app, but charging for a web version is one of the stupidest things I have ever heard. Just saying haha...
