Hi, If someone can please help me in getting the best settings to get the fastest speed out of the polyphony formula car. I am racing in the "TEST COURSE" Thanks,
PS: I hope it can reach in the 230s range. :)
Thanks, .:Giancarlo:.

You should try doing the tranny trick. It makes your gears the closes possible length , but I believe it makes you be able to top out at the end if done correct. Try searching around for the "tranny trick" or "transmission trick"

Good Luck!

Ive definetly read before I posted, I tried that trick, but I only got to about 123mph compared to defaults settings 217mph only 6mph gain. I am looking for more, but thanks for the reply.

Have you put your wings down? Less wings = less drag = more speed.

Less camber will get you more speed as well. Just make sure you have the minimum needed to get through the turns with some stability.

If you are talking about the downforce? what I did was put the downforce settings all the way to the right for front and as well as rear (45-63) and thats along with the tranny trick and got the 221mph.

Just finished bringing down the camber and gained 1mph extra Thanks! but still need more speed. anyone else know the exact settings of there formula car and there max mph? thanks lots.

0 camber
0 toe
0 downforce
equal ride height F&R

adjust the final drive in small amounts so that when you run out of power in top gear, your RPM is at the point where peak HP is made.

i got mine up to 220 the thing you have to remember is these are Formual 1 cars not indy cars wich are alot faster because they are built differently yes they look similar but the aerodinamics are very different as well as the engine pluse you are running with meadium rasing tiers if they were super soft you would get a little more the fastes i have ever gone in the F1 car is around 230 ish in arcade mode i went to settings and put it for top speed it gives you about 1020 ish rpm i think but maybe im wroung maybe you can go faster i know when i raced in the extream hall the GT all stars there was nissan R89C smoked me at the test track he got up to about 230 so idk?

Aaaand breathe.

Do you expect people to read that?

I think I had the F1 in the 220's a few days ago just from getting rid of downforce and stretching out the gears. Never used the tranny trick, so I'm not sure if that helps. I'm sure you could get 230 or more out of it.

Aren't Formula One cars faster than Indy cars?

And, you'll probably never be able to beat the LMPs around the Motorland Test Track in the Formula Polyphony, if that's what you're trying to do.
