You can change BHP en car wheight as much as you like. is possible(realistic) in real life? if it i? what do the throw out the car to make the car lighter or more heavy. i thought fuel, but it is not used in the game....

The tuning options in GT5 are not very true to life due to their nature being quick tuning. Being realistic never was the idea of this. You would be able to reach those numbers in reality for many of the cars though, at least in theory.

Still, you can make a car lighter by throwing out things you don't need for racing, such as carpets, rear seats, spare wheel, tools, changing body panels for lighter versions, thinner glass, and so on...

Yup, the Quick Tune options are a quick way of performing weight reductions and engine upgrades like you would at the dealerships or tune shops in GT4, for example. A weight increase or HP decrease on the Quick Tune screen is similar to ballasting or running a restrictor plate, respectively.

You could do that given enough time with most cars, but it's game. Do you really wana wait a month for chassis revision to lose 10-15 KG?

I think he's trying to communicate!

This is why GT5P is not a sim. Fuel loading is a big part of a cars physics and it directly affect a cars handling literally from lap to lap.

But I guess if you are just doing 3 lap runs it doesn't really matter except for Nordschleife. I would at least want to see tire temperature in GT5P....:indiff:

It's Prologue! Sheesh, what did you expect from a demo? My big issue is the PP system, a 500 PP Alfa 147 is no where near as quick as an Integra Type R with 500 PP :guilty:

A true sim with the graphics off GT5p, that's what I'm waiting for.

About the tire t°, I was thinking about that when I was doing some events. On the Eiger Nordwand, when I brake at the same time, more and less, approximantly at the same speed, I noticed differences. In the beginning of this event, I overshoot a left hand turn after the tunnel and when I drove a couple off laps, I don't overshoot this turn anymore. Does this mean that the tire t° is implemented in GT5p?

First lap there is definitely less grip. There is no drop in grip in subsequent laps, although I've not done a bigger race than 30 laps around High Speed Ring. I think that's a 2.5 Mile track so 75 miles with no change in grip.
