What do you think about the GT Auto and Tuning Shop Music?

Tunning = Not so much

Car delivery, one of those randoms titles sound like that HORRIBLE American idol theme.

Right. I was thinking it was the theme music from the movie, 'the sting'. but your answer sounds right. It's funny but it drove me nuts after a couple of weeks. I had to turn all the music off.

The car delivery music was funny too - it's like, "Get ready, here's your blind date!"

Most background music in GT5 I find very fitting and unobtrusive, but once you've been playing the game for a while, especially when you go on a shopping spree and hear the same music in the Dealerships, GT Auto and the Tuning Shop over and over again, it just becomes annoying.

I wish it would just randomly cycle through SOME other tracks like in the main GT Life screen.

This. To my surprise, there is a ton of great music in the game that is turned off completely or turned to slideshow only. I find the music GT chooses to be appropriate for the "serious and professional" style of the game, but why do they force a handful of songs on us over and over? It's too bad we can't configure all the menu music, only some of it.

I don't like the music either , I don't like the music in any other games I have played. I just shut it out it doesn't bother me then. Simple :)

Ya I've been muting my TV whenever I enter GT Auto and the Tuning Shop, but I don't think it would be a difficult fix to add the option for your personal BGM to play over every menu in the game. I mean they don't need to fix it I guess but would it be that hard to? Seems like a quick fix to me...
 
I hate both those songs so bad. I have my own BGM in the menus and i rage at the game everytime it forces me to listen to that crap:tdown::drool::ouch:
Add this to the list of things (there must be a mountain already) that are broken in the game but PD don't bother to fix.
 
I don't have that much of a problem with these songs.

Sometimes the entertainer gets a bit annoying, but not so much that I infuriate or something.

However, I really like the tuning music, probably has to do with the fact that I play the bass myself and am fascinated by the skillful slapping.

Same goes for all the piano stuff, also on the intro. Typical for Japan to favour some music virtuosity.
 
The music in this game is just bad in general, with the exception of a few songs. I'm unapologetically a music snob and Kaz's taste in music sucks, there I said it.
 
I'm no fan of the music in GT Auto and the Tuning Shop. At least I was given the option to setup my own music for BGM and Races. An option to disable the music in both of these locations would be great. An even better option would to allow me to use the BGM music I've already setup for these areas. The functions are already there, not really a big change i would think. Giving users the option to choose is always the right answer.
 
Gran Turismo 1 had the best menu music out of all the games.

Each dealership actually had a fitting song.
