Man this thing is pretty sluggish when you first get it I have already done weight reduction stage 1 put simple mods such as the racing intake, Catalitic converter and I have the first stage exhaust. Man does that sound horrid on the mustang. It buzzes worse than my hondas anyways suggestions on how to tune and aproach tuning this car. Any suggestions on how to tune the mustang R is also welcomed

Well it is a muscle car so

Supercharger and custom transmission to use the new power otherwise you'll just be redlining at 120mph.

im having the same issue with a mustang svt cobra. its fully modded, 720 hp and 1400kg~ weight, it was doing fine. but now that im doing the professional championship tournament thing, it sucks at handling compare to those built-to-race cars that they put me up against. they are a lot lighter and have like 100-150 less hp than me =/. idk what to do.

tighten up the suspension a lot with the rear end quite a bit stiffer than the front. also try a rear toe out (-). increase the rear ride height by 5-10mm over the front.

These should help neutralize the GT's understeer a bit... set your custom lsd acceleration to around 20ish so you can power oversteer easier.

otherwise, weight is the most important factor in a car's level of grip. this is why lighter is always better even with less hp.

thanks davey ill try that when I get home tomorrow morning
