Turbo VS. Nitro

I think the term you're looking for is "nitrous", not "nitro". Is there a point to this thread?

Definatly Turbo.

I think Nitrous is ***** power. You have a boost of HP for about 2 gears as to I have MORE boost the whole time. What is your car when your not pressing that button... nothing.

So a 1.3 L turbo rotary with 500 hp is somehow better than a big block with 500 hp because it has more technology? I dont see the difference, and neither can the dyno.

Who said it was better? You're the one who implied there is "no replacement for displacement".

If you don't know the differences between the two (which you don't) you might want to stick to the less technical areas of this board.

The dyno remark is laughable.

And you said that the replacement is boost, thus implying that it is better.

And who in their infinte wisdom said that you decide what people know and what they dont?

I said that a replacement for displacement is technology and or BOOST. I never said either option was better, I said they were a R-E-P-L-A-C-E-M-E-N-T. Dictionary.com will help you out.

I also never implied anything. You did.

My wisdom tells me: That you have seen the same ammount of motor builds and dyno tunes as Stevie Wonder has.

Turbo. Boost all the time, rather than for a few seconds. That's why Marko Martin and Sebastian Loeb and co. have turbos and not nitrous kits. Although if you want to go very fast in a straight line, then both. But I'd prefer a turbo in general.

If we're comparing Turbo Vs. Nitrous, then Turbo. Nitrous is like Viagra for cars. If your car cant get up on its own...:)
