So as some of you know I have a Nikon CoolPix L100 point and shoot camera that I use on a fairly regular basis. I haven't posted many pictures here as I am never 100% satisfied with them, but I figure a little bit of constructive criticism never hurt anyone.

So, I'll be posting a few pictures here every week and some advice, if available, would be appreciated. Remember this is a point and shoot camera and my knowledge with photoshop is limited, so most of them are straight off the camera, save for a crop here or there.

Update 1: Night Shots (7/31/2011)

Went out to the local recreation area today and snapped a few photos. Sorry if they seem dark, there was a storm coming and it was getting quite dark. I've also switched to my Flickr account as it's easier to use than Photobucket.

These photos were taken using my new lense adapter on my Nikon Coolpix L100, with a Circular Polarizing filter.

^ Panning shot of the NASCAR turned out really well! 👍 Car is sharp and crisp with a nice blur of the background. Good job!

That's actually the clearest one I could get. The best spot I found to take pictures was in turns 1-2, but you had to snap the photo between a fence and a couple tow trucks, all while avoiding the light poles.
